"There it is", Caitlin says, hold the vial of Velocity-9.
"Looks different than before", Jay says.
"That's because I realized that there was a flaw with Velocity-8, so I reformulated the extracellular matrix, and...".
"Velocity-9", Jay says.
"You know what they say: ninth times the charm", Caitlin says.
"Hey", Iris says, as she walks into the cortex.
"Hey, Iris. You okay"?, Jay asks.
"Yeah, I'm just a little worried about the time", Iris says.
"Well, don't worry. They'll make it back before we close the breach", Jay says.
"Um, actually I was here to talk to you about something else", Iris says.
"Oh. Yeah sure. What is it?", Jay ask.
"Well, my new editor wants me to write a scathing article on the Flash No being able to protect Central City from Geomancer", Iris says.
"Really?", Jay asks.
"Yeah. I was hoping to write an article about you instead...something that would calm people until Barry and Jamie get back", Iris says.
"You know, Iris, I don't know if that's the best idea", Jay says.
"Well, I think that if people knew that there was someone that could protect them, it would...it would really help", Iris says. "Would you just think about it?".
Before Jay could answer, an unknown alarm goes off in S.T.A.R Lab.
"Some crazy alarm's going off", Jays says.
"Yeah", Iris responds.
"Don't even think about running", Geomancer says, as the tv turns on. "There's a new Flash in town. You know, the one with the shiny helmet. Not the speedster I was hoping to crack, but let's see just how fast he is, Central City".
Geomancer punches the ground making it crack. The cracks travels to a skyscraper.
"Give me the Velocity-9", Jay demand.
"Jay, we have no idea how long it will last", Caitlin says.
"We don't have time to figure it out, Caitlin". Jay says.
Jay injects himself with the Velocity-9 and quickly runs to the fallen building to save everyone inside. He then runs back to S.T.A.R Labs and falls down on the floor, sitting up again the door frame.
"Jay".
"Im okay", he says. "That's just took a lot out of me. But if sure felt good".
"That was amazing, Jay", Iris says.
"Thanks. I kind of surprised myself, to be honest", Jay says. "Caitlin deserves all the credit. Looks like your Velocity-9's a winner".
"I still need to run some tests", Caitlin says.
"Iris, about the interview....".
"I think that I have everything I need", Iris says.
"Great. Cause I would really use a nap", Jay says. "I'll uh, I'll be downstairs".

"Two down, five across", Barry tells Jesse.
"It's J", she says.
"J? That's what your tapping...the letter J?", Barry ask, the unknown man. "All right, what's next?".
