Driving in silence, usually it's comfortable but today it's awkward and nerve-racking, both of us knowing what's about to happen, the thing we dreaded the most ever since we got together, the thing we said we would never do cause " 𝗜𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗻'𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 " or " 𝗜𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘂𝘀 ", lies. pure. lies it did in fact matter and it 𝑑𝑒𝑓𝑖𝑛𝑖𝑒𝑡𝑙𝑦 does affect us.

We're on the way to our 𝑠𝑝𝑒𝑐𝑖𝑎𝑙 𝑝𝑙𝑎𝑐𝑒, we want to spend our last day together in peace.

We want to talk about it in peace

We just want it to be a peaceful break-up

Arriving there Billie turns off the car and sighs, we get out, lay a blanket, and lay down on it, it was late at night so the stars were beautiful, none of us said anything for a few minutes until Billie broke the silence.

" 𝗜 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗮 𝗱𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 "

It's quiet for a few seconds until I hear crying, I immediately pull her in, I hate seeing her cry but who wouldn't cry right now.

" 𝗕𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗲 𝗜 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗼 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗜 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗼 𝗺𝘂𝗰𝗵 " I said now crying myself

" 𝗜'𝗺 𝘀𝗼 𝘀𝗼𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗺𝘆 𝗳𝗮𝘂𝗹𝘁, 𝗶𝘁'𝘀 𝘀𝗼 𝘂𝗻𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝘂𝘀 𝗮 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁 "

Don't get me wrong for a while it was nice because everybody doesn't need to know our business but there's a difference between being private and being a secret, I can't even kiss my girlfriend in public.

" 𝗡𝗼 𝗶𝘁'𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁, 𝗶𝘁'𝘀 𝗻𝗼 𝗼𝗻𝗲'𝘀 𝗳𝗮𝘂𝗹𝘁 " I grab her face so she's looking at me " 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗲 𝗕𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗲, 𝗜 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜'𝗺 𝘀𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 " We crash our lips together not wanting to let each other go but unfortunately some things have to come to an end

" 𝗬/𝗻 𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗺𝗲 " I giggle a little " 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗴𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴? " she asked confused

" 𝗕𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝘁'𝘀 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗮 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂, 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝗿𝗲 𝗕𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗲 𝗘𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗜 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻 𝗜 𝘀𝗲𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲 " she laughs knowing I'm right

" 𝗦𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆? " I say

" 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗵 " She said sadly, I kiss her lips one last time in our special place then we get up and start driving back to my place

The drive back was silent again but this time it was comfortable, she held my hand tightly and kissed it from time to time.

Finally, we arrived, she looked at me and pulled me into a long intimate kiss, after a while, we had to pull away for air.

it was time to let go

" 𝗜 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗬/𝗻 "

" 𝗜 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗼𝗼 𝗕𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗲 " I said tearing up

I get out and enter my house waving at Billie through the window she waves back and leaves

It's over...it's really over, I stop holding back my tears and just let them flow down my face

I'm gonna miss her

As I drive away I can't stop myself from breaking down, it feels like the world is crashing down

I'm so in love with her, how the fuck am I supposed to live my life without her? it's always been us, if everything went wrong she was there.

and now she's not here anymore...
