Almost three months is a long time

I walked into OSP about 2 months later. The talk Kensi and I had really helped, but the fact that Deeks hasn’t woken up yet, it’s hard. Hopefully, he would soon.

“Hey,” Callen said to me when I sat down “Heidi wants to see you.”

“K.” I said, getting up again.

“Yes, Heidi?” I said walking up to her.

“Hello, Your mental test will take place on soon. Please come to work prepared everyday until it happens.”

“Yes ma’am.” I said.

I walked back to my seat. Besides me, Callen and Sam were here. Kensi had gone back to the hospital to be with Deeks.

I looked around, I was extremely bored. I had nothing to do, he hadn’t had any cases and I was all caught up on my paperwork.  It was Friday I wanted to go visit Deeks.

Callen-sensing my boredom-looks up and says.

“Why don’t you go see Deeks, we’ll call you if we get a case you need to work on.”

“Okay, thanks.” I said smiling. Sweet, exactly what I wanted, I wonder if he read my mind.

I arrived at the hospital and walked into the front desk. The lady looked up at me and smiled.

“Hi, How can I help you?”

“I’m here to see Special Agent Marty Deeks.”

“Are you his daughter?”

“No, A friend.”

“Oh, He’s in room 618.” She says and hands me a visitor pass.

I run up the stairs(yes I know six flights) and knock on the door. I walk in to see Kensi sitting in a chair and holding his hand. Deeks is hooked up to so  many different machines I don’t even bother to count.

“Is he is still in a coma?”  I asked

“Yeah, I hope he wakes up soon. I don’t know what’ll do if he doesn’t.”

I nod and sit down next to her.

“Come on big brother wake up.” I mutter.
