Both our families are now at the hospital waiting on news from the surgeon, I am sitting here waiting to hear how Alonzo is doing. I am really feeling so much sadness and pain in my heart, can't believe he took a bullet for me, he risked his life to save me.

I been here 2 hours waiting for news, when suddenly the operating room doors open and I see the doctor come out and asks for Alonzo Rugetti's next of kin. I see the Rugetti's get up but, I beat them to the doctor, I tell him I am his wife, Mr. Rugetti doesn't say anything and pulls Valeria away towards him also. the Doctor comes towards me and says well, Mrs. Rugetti good news is he was shot on the shoulder, luckily it missed his nerves and spine but, he did loose a lot of blood, we had to give him some he is a bit weak, now all we have to do is wait for him to wake up, it will take a day or two because, he did loose a significant amount of blood, luckily he was brought just in time.

Doctor can I go see him? I ask.

Sure you will need to wait until he is taken to his room but, only 1 person at a time, he is currently asleep and will be taken to his room as soon as it's ready. Doctor we need a private room for him, we have a stalker trying to harm us both. the Doctor looks at me and nervously says, ok I will talk to our hospital staff to let them know.  Thank you, I tell him and sit and wait for the nurses to call me once Alonzo is taken to his room. After 30 minutes of waiting, I was allowed to go see Alonzo, he was taken to room L707, Mr. Rugetti called his security to stay with him, he put two bodyguards outside his room.

I'm sitting on a chair next to him, I grab a hold of his hand, I am greatfull that he is going to be ok, my heart hurts ,cause of our current situation that he we are in, because of a pyscho woman trying to kill me, Alonzo was willing to take the hit for me.

I look at him and whisper in his ear, "Alonzo please don't go please stay with me" then give him a kiss on his forehead.

I see him open his eyes and smile, he looks at me and says, I'm not going any where, I will take care of you baby, my eyes start to water (the fear comes fast but, I hold it back), I do the unthinkable while he is awake I get close to his face and give him a kiss on his cheek.

I hear a knock on the door, I see that it's a nurse, I stand next to Alonzo, she stops next to me, I watch as she takes his temperature, then takes the stethoscope and tries to take his pressure but, she doesn't use her fingers on his wrist, she doesn't have a watch as a normal nurse would have on when doing this, I look at her and she gives me this evil smile, I look at her right hand and see she is taking out a knife, she is about to stab Alonzo but, I hit her with the small vase that was right next to me on the small table by Alonzo's bed, it breaks as I hit her on the head, she recovers and comes at me with the knife above her head, I put my purse in front of me and sock her in the face, at the same time, I loose sight of the knife, I scream the bodyguards come running in, they grab her. Alonzo wasn't able to do anything because, I was standing in front of him, while the bodyguards have this crazy woman, one of them looks at me and tells Mrs. Rugetti, you have a knife sticking out of your thigh!

I look down and whisper, so that's where it went oh boy! I see my leg is bleeding profusely, a doctor comes running in with another nurse, they look at me and put me in a chair, I look at Alonzo and ask him if he is ok? I can see the worry in his face, he says yes I'm ok but, baby your bleeding why would you do that?, you could have been killed, I looked at him smile and say but, I wasn't, as we pass by the bodyguards holding that crazy woman. I ask the nurse to please stop for a minute, I see that crazy woman and her head is bleeding, I really don't care, she just tried to kill us so, I look at her, I sock her as hard as I can busting her lip, then tell the bodyguards to take her away. tell them, no one comes into this room only family! even nurses will have to be accompanied by a bodyguard when they come visit. they nod and I am taken to another room to remove the knife.

I can hear Alonzo say, let me go with her, how is she? As I am wheeled away, taken to another room and put under anesthesia. I woke up in a room in a hospital gown. I'm all too familiar with these gowns already, I look in front of me and see that the television is on, it's my mom sitting there watching tv, then I feel someone holding my right hand, I look and see, It's Alonzo, he is in a bed next to me but, the beds are pretty close. I look at him and he smiles and asks me how are you feeling my angel?

I look at him and respond  "I feel a bit of pain on my leg" but feel ok. I was worried about you baby, I couldn't sleep, I tried to go to you but, the doctors didn't let me go. I was kept here so I had to have them bring you here with me. He had my hand in his then says , Don't worry I will take care of you! I pulled my hand away from him as soon as I hear those last words. I start to feel that fear again, when he used to pulled me into him to sock me in the face or beat me until he was tired or I was knocked out.

My mom who was sitting there, seen my face and came over, she pulls my hand out of Alonzo's hands. Mom tells me she needs to talk to Alonzo for a minute. I should try to get some rest. I nod my mom closes the curtains between Alonzo and I.
