I can't believe mom(Mariana) asked me to get Lucia, This is the best Christmas ever. I get to the 3rd door and knock I hear my Angel Lucia's voice say "come in" I slowly open the door, I see that she is putting on her earrings, she looks up towards me and stops. She dropped her earing and she Froze, now I'm afraid she might not be happy to see me, my heart feels heavy all of a sudden, I look at her like an idiot I say, Hi there Merry Christmas Lucia, her eyes are tearing up I'm feeling afraid that she will reject me, but then, she starts walking towards me with her arm in the air I'm thinking she is about to slap me, instead she puts her arms around my neck then whispers in my ear, I forgive you, Merry Christmas Alonzo, I hug her tightly, I put my head on her shoulder I can smell that vanilla scent in her hair, I  reply back to her Merry Christmas" My Angel"

we spent two weeks talking on the phone,  I finally got to see Lucia again, work was hectic and I barely had time for anything, but I at least got to call my Angel Lucia, we would just talk about random stuff, but always got to say "good morning my angel" or "good night my angel". Lucia and I started dating 2 weeks later, it's been now six months and I proposed to her, she said Yes after a long pause and teary eyes, I almost thought she was gonna say No, when I had to do a lot of hiding things from her, for a bit, because I had to have the restaurant get the roses, wine and special dinner together, they fix the place nice and romantic, with candles, dim lights balloons, when we arrived, I had to cover Lucia's eyes so, when we walked into the restaurant, I walked her to our table, I took off the blind, she opened her eyes and found me on my knees, balloons and roses all around our table, she looked at me with tears in her eyes, I popped the question, she was stunned, then she said YES, the balloons popped, I was so happy, I had tears in my eyes. I was so happy. I put the ring on her finger, got up and hugged her so tight I could feel her heart and mine thumping at the same beat. we had a very romantic dinner, It was beautiful.

When we walked into their new home, they had bought a new home, lucky for me it was only 2 blocks away from us, it was perfect she was now closer to me, her parents and her sister Malena were sitting in the living room talking, they heard us as we got close, they turned to us, they seen the my Angels happy smile, and of course me grinning from ear to ear.

My Angel Lucia, says hey, I have an announcement to make, she had a beautiful smile on her face, red cheeks, she looked so adorable. she says nervously mom, dad.  Alonzo has proposed to me! she blushes, then says and I have accepted, I said yes mom, she smiled with tears in her eyes, her dad came over and hugged her, then  mom and sister. All of them had her in a tight hug, her dad turns to me and says, Alonzo, "I hope that you will love my daughter and take good care of her", anything less you will be buried 6 feet under and no one will find you! I was kind of scared there for a minute there, I replied  YES SIR, "I WILL TAKE GOOD CARE OF HER AS A QUEEN SHOULD BE". He smiled and hugged me..

we are hugging when the door bell rings, there goes Malena running, I can guess who that is, by her reaction, as soon as the door opens she squeals, and then we see her jump of course, It's my brother Mario, she confessed, she had been in love with him since she was around eight years old, she was jealous of my Angel Lucia, but she loves Lucia so, she kept it to herself. when she found out Mario had a crush on Lucia, these sisters are really full of love for each other, they do care for each other, they are really amazing, that really must have been really hard for her, yet she waited patiently and she finally got my brother. well after he came home and she pursued him constantly, calling him, asking him out, going over to our home to cook dinner for us, especially making that special dessert Mario loved,( peach cobbler), she never gave up. she got her man. I screwed up back then, I should have been nice to Lucia, instead of such a creep, but I got nervous and was so afraid of her rejecting me. I didn't know what else to do, so I did the stupidest things to her, caused her to hate me, she did not want to have anything to do with me. I am so happy that I got a second chance to get her back, I really do love her so ardently I feel complete only with her. Mario took me out of my trance when he looks at us and says what's going on? Everyone seems too happy? Did I miss something?

Alonzo proposed and I said YES, replies Lucia.

Oh my gosh congratulations to both of you! Wow dad is gonna be super happy.

Mario please don't tell him just yet, we want to surprise him, mom, dad can we have a special dinner to let him know PLEASE???

Alonzo, when can you get a day off? we all need to not just have dinner but a celebration?

Finally we all had dinner and I had to go back home, my dad was alone, he divorced my horrible greedy mother. Mario being here is good, dad needs company. I don't like dad being alone, I said good night to everyone. My Lucia got up and walked me to the door and said, Please come back soon, don't work too hard, I miss you, you know that right? I smiled at her pink cheeks, she still blushes, I told her I missed her too. I gave her a kiss, not just any kiss but a passionate wanting kiss. Sadly I had to say good night.
