It had been 5 years since Lucia had left. Her father had fallen ill and her brothers Dante and Franco requested for her to come see her h. Lucia traveled to Canada. Then took a plane from there to Italy.  she had kept in contact with Jacob, John, Maria and Fernando she called Jacob to let him know she will be coming back to see her father and if he could pick her up at the airport. Her flight will arrive at 4pm international flights #A427, Jacob said yes.

 Lucia was on her way, she had gotten a copy of her real ID. Franco got her passport for her, so her name would be kept secret, when she arrived the first thing  she seen was a big board with her name. WELCOME HOME LUCIA TORRES!!!! all were there waiting for her, as soon as she spot the sign, she ran over to them, hugged each one, they had plenty of news for her John had gotten engaged to the daughter of one of his clients that he guarded, Maria is now working for the Torres family, Jacob had also gone to work for them, but as Franco's driver, Fernando was still single, while they were walking back to the parking lot, without them noticing, Alonzo was walking with a woman toward their car, they were talking and laughing, Fernando suddenly hears Alonzo calling for Lucia, Lucia panics and looks at John and Fernando, Lucia whispers to them, please, please keep him away from me! Jacob rushes to the car parked a few feet away and come back quickly stops in front of Lucia, signals John to get her in, as soon as they do, Maria jumps in and so does Fernando in the front, they take off as quick as possible, Alonzo forgets about the woman he was with and gets in his car, he starts chasing after Jacob, since John and Fernando were in the arm forces they knew to get Lucia out of the car and get Maria quick put on Lucia's sweater. Lucia was left at a Coffee shop,  where she had put on Marias sweater put her hair loose and waited for them to ask Franco to come get her. rushing away gave them at least two minutes ahead of Alonzo, since he had to go get his car. 

 Jacob sped away manage to get 2 minutes ahead of Alonzo, they had dropped Lucia off and got Maria in the back, Jacob pulls over at a gas station and John walks into the store pays for the gas, buys some snacks and comes out to find Alonzo trying to interrogate Jacob asking where Lucia is hiding? John can clearly hear Jacob say look Mr. Rugetti, I don't know where she is at, I am just doing my job of picking up one of the employees and bring them back home. Alonzo is pretty angry goes to the back of the limo, opens the door to find Maria asleep in the back (she was pretending to be asleep). As he is about to close the door, Alonzo spots the board that says welcome home Lucia but does not mention it, he knows that she is back now!

While Alonzo is looking for Lucia in the limo, Franco comes and picks Lucia up and takes her home.  Lucia walks into the house and is greeted by her mother with a big bear hug, Dante runs over and picks her up hugs her tight and gives her a kiss on the cheek, tells her "I missed you little sis", where have you been? you look really radiant, Lucia smiles and says I have been in my new home, where I am growing purple grapes, Avocados and Mangos, all with a huge grin on her face. Mariana (mom) tells her she needs to go in and see her father, she nods and goes upstairs to see her father she knocks on the door and hears her dad voice come in, she walks in and can see her dad on the bed looking a bit thinner,  skin is a bit paler than before, Lucia ask her dad what's wrong with your health? Luis looks at her and says sorry honey it might be my time to go soon, but I want you to know how proud I am of you for being such a strong woman, Lucia starts crying softly, her father Luis, was diagnosed with leukemia 2 years ago but, did not want anyone to tell Lucia so, that she could stay where she was.

Lucia comes back downstairs and asks her mother what has been going on since she was gone, her mother tells her well, Franco is getting married next month to a young beautiful girl that he met at a restaurant, her name is Amelia Sanchez, Lucia say wait what? Amelia Sanchez? is she from Mexico? Her mother say yes, how did you know?, Lucia remembers  Amelia staying the extra week in Italy. After she sent her  to meet with possible distributors for her soon to be wine and fruits  to be distributed, her surprise Franco had met Amelia, obviously have been dating and keeping in contact, Lucia starts laughing and asks her mom where is the wedding being held?, Mariana looks at her and says I think here, but am not sure I need to ask Franco, as they are talking, there is a knock at the door, without thinking, Dante goes over and opens the door to their astonishment it's Alonzo. He is looking straight at Lucia, he tells Dante to please let him speak to Lucia, in which Lucia turns around and heads back upstairs to her fathers room, dismissing Alonzo as if he did not exist, when Lucia looked at Alonzo, all those memories came back to haunt her, she did not want any part of it anymore,  Alonzo tries to go into the home, Dante tells him "you are no longer welcomed here anymore please go home".
