Do you deserve the second chance?

Lucia

Lucia:

It's been a very hard torturous year for me. I was emotionally drained I was just glad my other family was there, Amelia my brother Franco and the Sanchez family. I could feel all the pain that was handed to me by Alonzo and Brenda. It was the worst, all the nightmares I went through but after everything and all the support I was able to focus and recovered not 100%, but at least I know that I wont be afraid and scared out of my wits anymore, I can look towards a better future and forgive. I'm really happy to come home and see my family, especially my little sister Malena, have not seen her for the last 3 years.

Alonzo:

I have been here at the  Anger management center for a year, I was told today, that I can head home next month. I called my dad to let him now that I was going home next month just in time for the holidays,  my dad  gave me the best news, my baby was back and I know that I can't wait be with her and start out fresh.

Mrs. Mariana Torres:

My daughter Lucia came home on Thanksgiving day, and we all got together, ever since Valeria, Dante and Mario were put away my heart hurts, because of what Dante did towards Lucia, But it was worse to have to be the last one to find out. Valeria being my so, called best friend ended up being a greedy, evil and vile  woman, I can't believe she tried to kill our daughter for money. That's  totally unforgiveable, Jessie has been spending time with us, he is really a great person, though I know Jessie is really sad and heartbroken, I know time will help him heal.

 We are getting ready for Christmas, the house has been decorated, this year I will try to make it a great Christmas for all, I have invited the Sanchez Family, Mr. Rugetti and of course, Fernando with now his wife my niece Iris, John and Darlene, Jacob and Maria still work here but are now dating, those two we could always see a tinge of love in their eyes for each other.

Our biggest surprise was when Mario showed up. He was released early for good behavior he came to ask permission to court our daughter Malena, we were completely surprised specially, since our Malena was the one that pursued Mario, until he gave in, we approved. Mario was so happy he cried, said he will treat her like the princess that she is.

It's Christmas eve, Lucia is Getting ready, she wanted to help in the kitchen, but Doris, Maria and our two new helpers(maids) said her no! and kicked her out of the kitchen. We have a full house, we no longer live in Italy we have moved to the Hamptons, bought a large home with 10 rooms 12 bathrooms and a guest house with 2 rooms and 2 baths.

It is close to the beach, we thought of Lucia who loves the beach. Everyone is here Lucia is still not down but, then again she was always the last one to come down. I was headed to go get her when the door bell rang, I told Doris to let me get it, I opened the door and there stood Mario with a huge smile dressed up in a white dress shirt and dark blue slacks, his brown hair nicely combed back looking very nice, I'm about to let him in, when my daughter Malena runs out and jumps into his arms, these two love birds are gonna be the end of me.

Mario walks in with Malena in his arms, Jessie right behind them, gives me a hug and says Merry Christmas as he steps aside my eyes fall on the man behind him with his back towards Me, hmm who is this, then he turns around with a big smile, it's Alonzo, he is back, he walked towards me and before I can say a word he hugs me tight. oh how I missed you he says. Alonzo lets go of me says, Merry Christmas Mrs. Torres, I tell him call me mom! With a big smile showing his pearly white teeth, he calls me mom. I know what would make him happier, I ask him, Alonzo can you do me a favor?  Can you please go upstairs and get Lucia for me dinner is about to be served and she is still not down.

Alonzo gives me the biggest smile possible and replies," I be more than happy" I tell him It's the third door on the left, I watched him smile big,  runs up the stairs to get Lucia.
