Mom smiles and looks around, then asks me where is your father? Mom he went to see John and Reggie oh my gosh they were here too?

Ok, I'm going to go see them, she took off, now Alonzo and I are alone.

I go back to Alonzo,  he pulls me over to him when I reach for his hand, as I go to hug him, he pulls me down and kisses me, I felt my face heat up, Alonzo smiles and says can't believe you blush, Alonzo stop making me blushing, he responds "that's a beautiful part of you and I love.

Alonzo, pulls me back to another kiss, this time it's a bit more passionate and I can feel my body tingle. Alonzo says Lucia, please lets get re-married, I promise to be a better man and one who will care for you protect you, Lucia I will take care of you, always, he freezes oh no! I hear him say. no baby no, I just want to make sure that we are happy and that you are safe in my arms. I look at Alonzo and those words seem to trigger my fear, of how cruel he was how he beat me, every time he seen me. I pulled away and I start shaking,

Alonzo can see I'm not comfortable, so he calls my name softly, Lucia, I look at him he smiles and calls me back to him, I feel that I do love him, but yet still very afraid, I can't control my fear. I go over to him, even though the fear is eating at me inside, I get close to him and he takes my hand and looks at me with what I see in his eyes, sadness and regret.

I get close to him, this time I sit on the chair not to close to the bed, mom left. He is holding my hand and tells me everything will be ok. We both will go to therapy now that, that gold digging slut, has been caught and we can be out and about, he wants a second chance to court me to start over.

I know that after all he went through to keep me safe, he should get a second chance, but my in my mind I find myself say. "Do you deserve the second chance?".
