Jack's P.O.V

"Isn't this a bit too big, Francis?" I said, holding my arms up to my sides as my tailor measured the large and baggy test suit.

Francis circles around me and nods," Yes, I believe so. Monsieur-"

He began to speak French to the tailor, who nods and measures my sleeves and arms again. It's been like this for the past thirty minutes, me holding my arms and legs out as the tailor measures and Francis approving my suit. If I'm being honest here, the suit looks neat and classy. Obsidian black with a slight tint of violet that shines underneath the sun or any exposer of light. This will come in handy when I sneak away and murder him.

"Oui, et pourriez-vous resserrer légèrement les manches et étirer un peu le devant? Ce sera tout, vous êtes excusé." Francis claps his hands and the tailor began to pack up, bowing to us before leaving.

"What did you tell him?" I asked as I removed the measured tested coat.

Francis takes a seat," I asked to tightened the sleeves a bit before leaving. Are you liking how the suit is turning out, brother?"

I smiled," Yeah, that tint of violet will surely get the crowds attention."

Francis smiles back," I'm glad to hear that! Now, after this week, you will have three days to get ready and pack to go to the academy. I know you may not like it at first, knowing that you grew up in the streets without any social education, however you will find it in your best interest to stay there. You'll meet other princes, learn how to read, write, and properly shoot."

I sarcastically chuckled at his inside joke. The only reason why I missed is that my fingers were colder than ice, making me miss his head.

"I guarantee you, brother, that I will not miss next time." I jokingly said.

He stands up, laughing and placed me in a playful headlock. We made our way out the door and began to walk to our next agenda.

Thankfully, our next agenda doesn't revolve me with Francis, he has to leave for the meetings of the guests that will attend. And I don't mean just any guests, I'm talking about noblemen, mistresses, young princes and princesses of other kingdoms, hell anyone that comes in a fur coat with a bag filled with gold! All these rich folks will be the witnesses and my new social circle to my coronation.

I was scheduled to choose which gem I'll like in my crown. As I made my way over there, many servants would rush pass me, sometimes holding a letter or a tray with things, but they were always in a rush. I've never seen so much in the castle, I mean of course I've seen plenty of servants and maids here, but not as much as this week!

I pushed the slightly opened door, allowing myself in. There was an old man with some kind of odd glass circle around his left eye. As weird as this sounds, that reminded me of Dr. Wines and his patched up eye. I swear that once this is all through, I'll make Dr. Wines my personal doctor or something with a high rank. It's the least I can do for him.

The odd old man looks up from the inspection of a gem that was twirling in his finger tips and he smiles towards me. He placed the gem down as well as the circle glass thing on his eye and greets me.

"Ah! Why, this must be the dashing new prince! I haven't heard or been in such a fantastic event since I've made Queen Victoria her crown!" He enthusiastically says, clapping his hands together as his smile grew bigger.

Man, this guy was around since Queen Victoria? This guys ancient! I shook away my inner thoughts and nodded at him.

"Uh, yes! I'm here for the jewels that you'll be putting on my crown, correct?" I said, pointing at his desk.
