Jackies POV
I raised my fist up and delved it to the mans face. My knuckles were now a ugly purple with the mans blood to top it off. The man raises his hands up to defend his face and cried,"Please! Please I mean no harm! All I wanted was a room in the castle if they promised-"

I tugged on the collar of his shirt and brought his face closer to mine." Who?!", I said, tired of his nonsense, making me impatient. I turn to look at Levin, who was guarding the back alleyway.

"The King and Queen! Please sir let me go-" before the man could utter another word I threw him across the other side of the alley. His back made contact with the brick wall and yelled in pain. I stalked towards him and stood over him. He made himself turn into a fetus position, his arms wrapped around his head.

"Just answer me this and I'll let you go, got it?" I said, and the man faintly agreed. I continue," Why are the King and Queen looking for assassins? Huh?!" I kneeled down and took a hold of him, jolting him around.

"What else? To kill that girl that stole the princess!" The man said, levin turned and ran to kick him in the side of his head, his blood staining the ground. I pushed levin away and told him that he's mine, in which the man cried. He gasped in pain and shock," You're her...aren't you?"

I nodded and drew my fist back and hit him square in the face, feeling a satisfying crunch under my knuckles. I kept punching him till his face turned all puffy and purple. I stopped and tried to catch my breath, still having my hands clenched and drenched in blood. I felt a hand on my shoulder and a soft voice," Let's go get your hands stitched and fix the god damn roof for once." I got up and walked along side with Levin to the house.

Once inside, Levin placed his hand on my back and lead me to sit down and relax for a moment while he fixes up my bruise knuckles. As soon as his hand left my back, Levin cursed loudly.

"Damn it Jackie! Your stitch reopeneded! Ugh out of all the things I know how to do...I don't know how to stitch a damn open wound!" He says, bringing the pot full of water and rinsed his hands in them. I begin to wash off the blood in the cold water, holding in the pain.

"Let's wait for Catherine, she knows how to deal with my wounds..." I said, feeling tired and worn out. Not this again, it was hard enough to regain the amount of blood in my body for weeks! Once the blood was washed away, I laid on my stomach on the rug next to the chimney while Levin looked for the bandages and needle.

I rested, ever so hoping I have the energy to get up and stitch the wound myself. I heard muffle voices before a soft whisper woke me up." Jackie, hang on." I smiled, knowing that smooth angelic voice anywhere.

"My darling, where have you been?" I said, opening my eyes to see Cathy staring at my back. She helped me take off my shirt and began to remove the blood soaked bandages again.

"Dear god, how did this happen?" Says Cathy, gingerly wiping the blood with the cloth. Levin and I stayed quiet, making Cathy question more. Me, still smiling and from the amount of blood loss, I said," We beat up a man, my darling."

Cathy stops drenching the cloth with water and turns to look at me. She scooted close enough to examine my purple knuckles and flinched away.

"Jackie! Why?" She said, making me face her teary eyes. I shake my head, not knowing what to say in this situation. I can't even focus on what's going on, no matter how hard I try.

"Please, forgive me. I cannot focus properly and I'm bleeding heavily, we'll talk about it once I regain my strength." I said, grabbing her hand and give a reassuring squeeze. Levin came next to her and helped with the bandages and brought the needle. I closed my eyes again, feeling pokes on my back.

Levin carried me upstairs and to the bedroom and laid me on my stomach. I immediately began to feel loose and passed out. When I did wake up, I woke up with Cathy on my side reading a book. I tried to move but the pain was overbearing so I just slowly moved my hand towards Cathys. She places the book down and looks at me with her blue eyes.

"Please, tell me what happened." She said, putting the book away and laid on her side facing me.

I signed,"The man was rich and said quite a lot of information as well. Did you know that half of the kingdom is being hired to kill me and take you back?" I stared at her and waited for a reaction. And just as I thought, she showed no emotion.

"My dearest Cathy, we must move to another kingdom lower than this. We could raise enough money to-" Catherine cuts me off suddenly.

"It's been weeks now, maybe a month since we escaped and in all truths I am so happy, I've never thought I'll be happy in my miserable life! This is all too quick isn't it? This is the kingdom I grew up with, and what if my mother and father never successfully find us? We could live-" Now I cut her off.

"We will live hidden, our love forbidden and if someone were to find out about that, I will be killed and you will be punished Cathy! I cannot bear to think that or even imagine it! I want you, us to be truly free!" I said, catching my breath. Cathy looks at me with a swirl of emotions in her deep blue eyes and again, I cannot tell what she's reacting.

But I guess her reactions are so sudden because in a blink of an eye she leaned in and kissed me. Her lips moved in a slow pattern, begging me to kiss back. What the hell is happening? Is this her way to shut me up? In frustration I kissed back, longing to feel her touch in weeks. Cathy began to make her way on top of me and started to tug on my buttoned up shirt. Our lips still moving, I grabbed her hand flipped us. With all the power and control I have in me, I pinned both of her hands down and pulled away.

"Not today, my love." I said out of breath. But I knew Cathy, I knew she'll do whatever to make me fall for her spell. We stared at each other, brown to blue and out of breath and hot. I leaned down to give her a peck and lay beside her gently. I wrapped an arm around her and she rested her head on my chest and pressed herself close. I began to drift off again, too weak to fix the roof and too unbroken to fix our problems.

I stayed up half the night, overthinking of every single thing. First things first, the queens return. For sure she wants my head served in a silver platter and my body burned to ashes. Prince Andrew will send his knights to search half the kingdom again and the King will just be a depressed man.

Maybe...no, this all can't be my fault. It's both our faults, but you cannot blame young love can you? Yes, it's no ones fault, this was all an unexpected event that's both on good and bad terms. The good? Well we all know that, but the bad will forever be a mystery even with our theories. I must stop, I open my eyes and look down at Cathy.

Her beauty shines like the stars and the bright moonlight. Her skin as smooth as silk and perfect in every way. God, her eyes were the color of the deep blue sky clouded with sadness and suffering. The eyes of a thousand pleads of agony and love. I caressed her cheek, she moved a bit but still at peace, and kissed her forehead.

"I will never leave your side, and no one will separate us and I will make sure of it, even if it's the queen."
