Jackie's P.O.V
"I pray to God this works, if not I'll just end-" I interrupted Catherine, who was fixing my button up shirt.

My plan was to dress as one of the Royal guards, thanks to Matthew, find and grab whatever evidence I can that will help me with this dreadful frame.

"It'll be okay, my princess. It always does, no matter the time or place." I declared, grabbing Catherine's hands in mine and gave a gentle squeeze.

"Oh, please do be careful, I don't want to loose you like last time," and with that Catherine gave me a kiss and before I knew it I was in the halls.

I stood there like a fool, the hall was filled with guards. There were guards by every bedroom door and opened space walls between them. None of them paid attention to me, which I thanked the heavens for.

I swallowed down my nervousness and started to walk down the halls and by my surprise, the murder scene of the queen wasn't far. I walk towards the horrific scene, there was dried blood on the pattern carpet. The stain was no bigger than a baby, oh the poor queen.

I looked to the right and my eyes fell on a crumpled piece of paper hidden behind a giant potted plant. I look behind me, the guards still pay no attention to me. I grab the paper quickly and began to walk towards Catherine's chambers.

But, God wasn't on my side this time. As I neared her door, one of the guards stopped me and pushed me back. I stumbled backwards and looked at them confused.

"This isn't your shift nor is it your duty. Only permission from the king and prince are guards allowed to enter. Besides, aren't you suppose to guard the dungeon at this time?" The guard stated, eyeing me suspiciously.

I backed away and mumbled an apology before turning around and started to head to the dungeon quarters. I cursed to myself, why haven't I seen this coming, they knew this uniform is for dungeon guards, dammit Matthew.

I stood in front of the dungeon door before going inside. If I'm given such an opportunity to be a dungeon guard, might as well kill time and have a little fun. I walked down the stairs and grabbed the keys that were on the wall. Instantly my eyes fell on Bill, who was sleeping on the floor.

I smile and shook my head as I walked up to his cell, twirling the keys. I unlocked it without a doubt and that sure awoke Bill. He jolted and when he saw me, he laughs and jumps up.

He embraces me," I damn knew you would be of help! I've never doubted you buddy, now let's get out of here!" He said, his accent strange yet funny to hear.

"Do me a favor Bill," I said.

"Anything for you, friend!" Bill smiles.

I played with my hair, watching the door and hearing everything around me. Matthew and Anne were playing cards near me on the floor and time to time, they'll glance at the door.

Matthew spoke up," Don't worry my liege, Jackie's a smart kid, always know how to get out of sticky situations. Plus, nothing can kill her as well."

Anne agreed," He walked two and a half miles, bleeding from his side with a sprang ankle to my doorstep. And if that isn't enough, he also once outran a group of five gamblers,"

She continues," When he and Levin escaped them and went home, Levin freaked out to find Jack's back with three knives. Jack has the strength of Hercules and the luck of a thousand four leaf clovers."

I raise my eyebrows, taken back by Matthews and Anne's story's about my husband. I wasn't surprise though, I've already seen what he's been through back at the abandon house.
