Jack's P.O.V
Blast this damn snow! I was very nearly close to Francis's camp, I would of been there by dawn if it weren't for this ridiculous snow! I hugged my arm around my rib cage, trying to comfort my soreness and pain as I advance further into the depths of the snow.

I held my hand up to cover my eyes from the cold breeze, until I finally see it at last. Torches were lit not far from where I stood, and that gave me enough adrenaline to push harder before the sun sets completely and the cold would end up killing me.

I reached the camp in time before I gave out and fell on my knees, I heard footsteps around me as two men grabbed one of each of my arms and lifted me up. They hauled me into a random tent and set me down, they both left, leaving me alone for a couple of minutes.

I took this time to brush off the snow and take off my wet clothes quickly and smother them in a warm blanket near me. As I tried to warm up my freezing hands, the tent's flap opened up and Francis's large figure entered my camp. He laughs as he sits down and shakes off the snow on him.

He looks up to me, grinning." For a split second there Jack, I thought you betrayed me or failed me by dying. You know, I depend on you and have very high expectations on you, if you bring them down," he suddenly claps out of nowhere and laughs some more.

"We'll, I guess I'll just have to kill you, the legendary Jack the Reaper." Francis slaps his knee as he chuckles.

I know I was staring at Francis like he was a maniac, is that what they're calling me now? Jack the Reaper, I gotta say they are getting creative with the nick names. I ignored his previous words and chuckle with him.

"You honestly believed I would just...betray you like that my lord?" I said, wrapping the blanket around me.

"Oh Jack, Jack, Jack. I've ended this war now, or originally yesterday, and I was looking forward to your return with my Queen." He makes a tsk sound and smiles to himself.

I stopped laughing and looked at Francis in disbelief, he ended the war? The war is over, just yesterday? So, man this will be a breeze to kill Francis again, he's no longer an importance to anyone now. Yes, he did nearly destroy Catherine's and I kingdom, almost killing the king and Andrew as well.

However, he is not such a big significance towards the war, now that it's all over, thank the heavens for that.

"I'm sorry to report that I could not bring Catherine to you, my lord, I was back tracked from the sudden snow storm, so I had to leave the castle and come to you." I said, smiling by the fact that I can kill him so easily now.

"I can see that, you need better gear and proper recovery, Jesus it looks as if you have fought with a bear Jack. Rest here until you fully recover and are in good health, I don't want a weak general to fetch for my Queen now." Francis chuckled deeply as he grasps my shoulder and shook me a little.

"Thank you, my lord. I appreciate your hospitality." I winced from the pain that he caused on my shoulder but I quickly composed myself.

"That a boy Jack. Rest, eat, hell fuck if you want to, just bring me my wife as soon as possible. I cannot stand being alone without her by my side." Francis began to stand in a crouch position and head out.

"Yeah, me too..." I whisper out as he steps out and closed my tent for me, surprisingly.

I changed into some warm clothes and snuggled in deeper into my layers of blankets, I'll make sure to rob these after I kill Francis and head back home. It's almost impossible for me to sleep without Catherine, but the very thought of her feeling free of being tied down to princes gave a peace to my mind.
