(Emma's pov)

I let Luke in and we went to my room. I sat on the Bed and he sat at the end of the bed facing at me.

"Luke?...whats going on?" "What do u mean?" "U have been acting strange suddenly what's going on?" "Nothing" "Lucas Robert Hemmings! Don't lie to me!" I always knew when he was lying.

He took a deep breath "ok u got me" I laughed "now tell me" "guess who is gonna be sighed in a record label?!" "Luke that's amazing! Why didn't u told me!" "Cause I'm gonna be really busy and I want to make sure we have a lot of time together now".

"Oh Luke don't worry I'm really happy for u" I gave him a hug and he hugged back and whispered in my ear "what if we can't spend too much time together?" "Luke don't worry about that I'll be fine" "Emma, I can't loose u like that" "u won't loose me" "I know but-" "I know what u mean".

We stopped hugging and I layed back, I started thinking about it and Luke kinda noticed I was a little down "what's wrong?" "Noth-" "Emma don't lie" I giggled "what if things change?".

"Things won't change" "what if they do" "Emma, it won't I can't leave or loose u or stop talking to u or stop seeing u cause u mean a lot to me" I just smiled "ur so sweet and I'm glad ur my best friend" we hugged.

Luke wanted to stay over so I let him. I stayed all night thinking...will things change? I don't want things to change I'm happy with him being my best friend and hanging all the time with him and it's all just so much fun and I don't want to loose him...im afraid I will...

*next morning*

I woke up cause Luke was waking me up he said he wanted to go to the beach so why not.

I got ready and we headed out to the beach. the boys were there.

Everyone went to the water expect me and Ashton. "hey Emma" "hey Ashton" "so what r u doing?" "Reading" "ok" "what r u doing?" "Nothing much just sitting here looking, chilling" I giggled for some weird reason.

There was silence till he asked "so u and Luke?" "What about me and Luke?" " Are u two a thing?" "Oh god no! We are just best friends" "wow!" "Why so surprised?" "Cause u two look like it" "just cause it looks like it doesn't mean it's true".

"But...u like him" "no" "oh no I didn't ask I know u do" well I mean maybe a little but not that much. "yeah that's what I thought" he said standing up so I stood up too.

"Well ashton, ur wrong I don't like Luke so ha!" "Well I thought u did cause he told me likes u" OMG really! "Really!?....i mean not that I care" "wow I love how u pretended like u don't care well he does" "oh um-" "but u don't or...do u?" "Ok fine...yes I do like Luke but it's just a little" "well thank u...btw I was kidding he hasn't told me he likes u".

I got mad so I rolled my eyes and turned away but he grabbed my wrist and pulled me back "I don't like it when people lie that's why" "let me go" "ok sweetheart" he smiled and let me go...."don't call me that!" I know he was just annoying me but he kept calling me that all day.
