Gone

(Emma's pov.)

"I'm sorry" Michael said whispering in my ear I get up from his chest "why sorry?" I look at everyone around me all looking at me with worried eyes luke gets a step closer "Emma-" he says with a slow voice but I cut him off "I would rather Michael tell me" I look at Michael.

"Calum is gone" my heart broke I got up and stand next to his bed "but he's breathing" "really Emma? Look closely" I look at Michael and back at calum..."he isn't breathing" I whisper "I'm sorry Emma" I hear Luke say but I ignore.

"He can't be gone!" I cried Michael got up and stood next to me "Emma hey look at me" I look up at Michael crying "don't cry" he whispers I just gave him a hug and he hugged back "let's go home" with that he took us all back home.

I got home and I just layed on the couch broken I can't believe he's gone.

*hour later*

Everyone went to sleep I was alone on the couch all dark when the lights got on "Emma?" I hear a familiar voice say I notice it was Luke so I ignore him.

"Emma come on get up go to your room" "no I'm staying here" "Emma come on" he says as he went down on his knees looking at me but I looked away I didn't wanted to look at him "Emma look at me" "go away luke" "okay then I'll let you here but are u gonna go to sleep?" I nodded no.

"Let's go take a walk I need to talk to you" "well I don't want to talk to you" "Emma please" he begged "fine!" I finally said and got up, we went on a walk in the park.

"So talk you said u wanted to talk" "Emma I'm so sorry" "sorry won't cut it luke you-" "I'm sorry for everything" "Luke-" "Emma listen to me stop cutting me off" "okay, continue".

We kept walking as he talked "I know what I did was wrong and when u were at the hospital my heart was broken into pieces I got distracted over Selena but now I regret everything I wish I never met her and I just wanted to say-" "Luke you don't have to-" "stop cutting me off" "sorry continue".

He stopped walking and looked at me "Luke continue" "okay uh" he looked down at his feet then back up "I love you" "I can't believe it" "I love you"he said again as he hold my hand and pushed me against him and kissed me when it started raining.

But....did I kiss back?
