His thoughts were going wild, not going straight at all as he followed Sapnap, leaping from roof to roof. Though the raven head was a lot smoother in the movements, George followed closely behind, his thoughts replaying what had just happened.
Dream just... he had just kissed him.
He had kissed him.
He didn't know what to be thinking. He felt... happy. He actually felt really happy, yet knowing that the other was left behind made him do nothing but worry.
"George!"
He finally looked up, the two had now stopped on a roof far away from the grand building, their chest rising and falling rapidly as they looked at one another.
"Where too now?" He questioned, gripping onto his strap and straightening it after the run.
Right. Karl.
He raised his fingers to his ear piece, clicking it before he began to speak "Karl? You there?"
The other replied quickly "Yep. Whacha need?" It was comforting hearing his voice again.
"Are you still at post B?" He questioned, the other replying with a quick 'yup' before George turned to Sapnap and began to walk in the directing of point B, the male following close behind him.
It wasn't long before they reached a tall building, George leading the way up the stairs as Sapnap followed silently behind him. The air was thick, both of them thinking about Dream being left behind. They couldn't do anything about it though, the blond had done it to save them.
He felt arms wrap around him once he opened the metal fire exit, Karl squeezing him tightly "I'm so glad your okay" he said pulling away and looking at Sapnap which was standing beside him.
"Well hello handsome" he commented, a tight grin on his face as he observed the male in front of him "I've heard a lot about you."
"Wish I could say the same..." the other responded, an equally big smirk on his face. "George never told me about a handsome friend..."
George rolled his eyes as he turned around, the building they had just left being in view. He knew that Dream would be okay, he was strong. He had a clever mind. He would come back to them and the three of them would be alright.
But what if he wouldn't? What if something bad were to happen to him and they would never know. He had risked his life to save him, he didn't need too, George was simply an enemy to him.
But he did. And that's why he had to as well.
But not because they were enemies, but because they were something much greater than that.
"I'm going back for Dream" he blurted out suddenly, the two pausing their conversation and both turning to look at the brunette.
"Your what...?" Karl questioned, his brows furrowing in a confused fashion.
"I'm going back for him. He needs help." His voice was certain, George beginning to look through his pockets to make sure he still had everything. He wasn't sure what he would need, he had no clue what or who he would even be facing.
George began to walk, stopping him with a strong grip "your not going anywhere George."
He pushed past him, the other still managing to stop him by the hand. "Let go Sapnap. We aren't leaving him behind."
"He said he would be fine. We have to trust him George. You'll get yourself killed" his brows were furrowed, words sharp and harsh.
"Schlatt is going to kill him Sapnap, you know that!" He began, anger and fear filling his tone "You know how stupidly stubborn he is! You know him better than I do!"
