How could he say that.

How could Dream just side with the others like that. He though that he was going to be on his side, it was Sapnap they were talking about.

George couldn't quite comprehend why the blonde had disagreed with him, angrily following Karl along the corridor to where the brunette's work room was.

"You can see steam coming out of your ears George" Karl said, George's attention quickly moving onto him as he questioned if he heard what he just heard.

"What?"

"I'm sure Dream had a reason why he disagreed with you. Don't get so worked up over it." A delicate smile as he opened a light grey door, letting George in first as he follows him in.

The room was fairly large, dark yet walls with pictures and labels. One of the walls was just filled from top to bottom with various books, some large and some small, some with leather straps with words that George couldn't quite understand. There was also a large desk, books and papers stacked on either side of them. There were a few Pokémon cards stacked on it, however George was sure that it was not thing compared to the stacks he had in his actual room. The room had a smell of old wood, something that reminded George of bad memories. However it wasn't the same, this scent was far more welcoming and home. It made him feel distant to what had just happened, being able to relax slightly as he moved through the room.

He looked at one of the walls with images on it, some string attached from picture to picture. It looked like a mission plan though George couldn't be sure. Karl wasn't the one to plan missions. He usually was a look out or helped with injuries after.

"Mission?" He questioned, Karl turning around to look at what George was mentioning.

"Oh that... it was sort of for you. No one knew where you were so Phil let me brain storm." He looked away flustered and George took a closer look at the little string. There weren't many, the only places that were accurate being the park and club he had went to that night. He smiled at the gesture however.

Karl turned back around for a moment and gestured to a chair, George sitting down as he watched the other rummage through some shelves.

"So, Dream mentioned you got injected. Do you know where?" He questioned, still looking through his shelves.

"I don't... I don't remember the event. I can barley remember Dream coming to save me...most of what I know is what Dream had told me."

"Memory loss" the other mumbled as they turned back around, a book opened in their hand as they walked over to inspect George. "Do you remember feeling drowsiness? Maybe pain? Or was it numb? Maybe even painful?"

George knew that Karl was just trying to help but he could feel his brain going numb just at the thought of the event. He hadn't thought about it and when he did, he couldn't remember anything. Just those dull eyes and heavy chains. In a way he was glad that he couldn't remember, Dream seemed shaken Ed up himself, jumping at any possible sound when walking through the city with George. If Dream was being so paranoid, he couldn't imagine what Sam could have done to him if Dream wasn't there to help him.

"I don't remember."

Karl hummed in response as he turned Georges head from side to side as he inspected his neck, moving his fingers along his neck to look for any bumps. He gathered that Karl couldn't find any as he pulled away, beginning to look down at his wrists. They still had a a few scratches, a slightly duller colour where the chains had rubbed his wrists.

"And those?"

"From chains. They only look bad. I don't feel any pain from them" he reassured, watching the others concerned expression turn into a softer one.
