Titan didn't like it, he could smell it in the air that the weather was off. All of the animals could tell that there was going to be a storm, they could sense it.
Unfortunately humans did not posses such senses.
The family went on with their life, Alfred cleaned, Damian drew, Tim stayed in his room, and Bruce worked.
The entire time the animals tried to warn Damian.
When he took them on their walk they barked at the clear sky, but Damian didn't even notice that all the birds had gone silent with the crickets.
It was the calm before the storm, literally.
Titus tried to get Alfred to the batcave but same with Damian, Alfred just told him off and called for Damian to calm Titus down.
Raven tried to show her concern by not flying outside when Damian opened the window for her.
He was confused and walked her out into the balcony, but she never spread her wings but flew back inside.
Whenever Damian was sitting, the dogs, Pennyworth, and Garret tried to cuddle up next to him to get a sense of comfort which he did not understand. With all the hints they were leaving Damian wasn't picking up any of them.
"What's up with the animals?" Tim asked Damian as he was refilling his coffee downstairs.
Titus and Titan were barking at nothing outside while even Garret and Pennyworth waited at the door.
"They are looking for something but I have no idea, they've been acting strange all day" Damian replied as he filled his tea cup.
"Animals are weird" Tim said as Titan and Titus suddenly ran back inside and hid under an end table.
"Humans are stupid!" Garret snapped. "They don't have any sense to anything!"
Titan scratched his ear and agreed "How can they not smell that storm? It's unbelievable!"
"How do we even get them to hide?" Titus asked.
Damian walked by and looked at his animals that were huddled under an end table.
"What are you doing?" He asked.
They all stared at him, willing him to read their minds. "You're hungry aren't you?" He asked before walking up the stairs. "Come on, I'll feed you."
Garret growled then ran out quickly and yelled at Damian's back. "We're not hungry incolent fool! We're trying to warn you!"
But Damian didn't pay attentions to the warning the weasel was screaming.
Not even the weather men predicted the storm and as it grew later and too dark to even see the clouds forming.
When Damian and Bruce were getting ready for patrol Titan and Titus stood between them and the Batmobile, growling threateningly.
"Are they okay?" Bruce asked as he pulled up his mask.
Damian flexed his jaw and stepped towards his dog's.
"Titus, Titan, walk away." Damian demanded.
Neither moved and when he stepped closer their growls got louder.
Bruce narrowed his eyes at them and said "They really don't want you to leave, maybe you should sit out of this patrol."
Bruce took a step to the Batmobile and the dogs did the same things.
He looked back at Damian who looked just as confused.
"This is ridiculous, stand down." Damian said as he walked over to them and took their collars and pulled them away.
