"Why is he in a ball?" Diana asked when she looked over at Hammy.
Hammy scurried around in his hamster ball that Cyborg was holding still in his hands.
"Because if I don't keep him in the ball he'll hurt himself by running into a wall." Cyborg said as he looked down at the hamster. "He's not that smart"
Hammy was actually a genius, but he couldn't really walk straight and often mistakes the walls for exits that he would hit repeatedly until there was. A hole for him to crawl throughmThe hamster didn't really belong to Cyborg either but was a test subject in his father's lab for a while but then just became the lab pet and eventually was just brought home and became a pet.
Today, while Cyborg was getting ready to head to the watchtower to help with the malfunctioning computer Hammy had rolled himself into Cyborgs bag and snuck in with him.
"At last!" Hammy cackled evilly. "My plan to take over the world has begun!"
Hammy was also an evil mastermind with ADHD.
He scurried around his ball but was honestly quite shocked when it didn't move. Cyborg was holding it still, explaining to Diana the mix up while Hammy tried to get free from his grasp.
"Blast it all!" Hammy finally huffed as he stopped his scurrying and crossed his little arms.
It was at that moment when Krypto came flying over. (Krypto being Superman's super powered dog).
"Hey Krypto!" Cyborg greeted as he pet the dogs head.
It was at that moment when Hammy rolled off of Cyborg's hand and fell to the ground.
"Free at last! Now I can get to work on-" Hammy stopped to try to remember what he was supposed to be doing. He had been working on getting out of Cyborg's hands for so long he had completely forgotten why.
"Hey Krypto, this is Hammy, would you mind watching him for me?" Cyborg asked.
Krypto barked in response then turned to Hammy.
"What are you doing in that ball?" Krypto asked.
Hammy rolled his ball away and Krypto followed at a walk.
"Trying to get free! You will be my servant and will help me get out of this prison!" Hammy demanded.
Krypto tilted his head to the side to examine the ball.
"I'm not sure how to do such a thing," He said. "I can try to bite it open"
Hammy gasped, horrified at the proposition. "And eat me along with the walls? I think not! We will simply have tik find another way of ridding me of this impudent cage!"
Krypto nodded and said "I have an idea! Vixen can turn into an animal! Surely she would be able to understand your problem and help!"
"Excellent! Take me to her!" Hammy grinned.
"All right then" Krypto said as he opened his mouth and put the ball half way in to pick it up. He then flew down the halls, looking for Vixen.
