We Have A Pool?

I don't know if you guys can guess or not but I've obviously been in the mood for summer! 😂 Just wondering if anyone else is wishing for summer of if it's just me! Anyway! Enjoy another summer story of mine!

Another hot day in Gotham which is another day of humidity and sweat. Even in the early mornings it was already seventy degrees! Damian had started waking up earlier so he could take the dogs out to play before the sun rose to attack them from all sides! Titus and Titan worked up a sweat and during the long summer days they competed in who was hotter. (because all those lady dogs are head over paws for them!😉😝)

Today the heat had outdone itself. A hundred degrees and rising.

"My fur is black and black attracts heat!" Titus argued.

Titan panted as they laid in the shadow of a tree "Well I have more fur than you! It's like a blanket all the time!"

A bird flew over head and chirped down at them "I'm flying through the sky, I'm always cool!" then it flew away again.

"Did we ask?" Titan asked.  He was hot and coming into his teens in dog years so combined it made sassy Titan.

"What the heck was that?" Titus grumbled.

Alfred opened the mansion door and called for them to come back inside. The two dogs bolted for the door and ran inside happily. Unfortunately it wasn't much cooler in the house. The AC had broken just a day before and the repair man was still trying to fix it.

Titan panted as he walked into the living room where the boys were melting onto the ground and couch.

Jason was outstretched onto the couch wearing only shorts and a tank top. Everyone had taken off as much clothes as they could, Dick going the extra mile and taking off his shirt.

Everyone had paper fans that they fanned themselves with as they waited for the electric fan that was plugged into the wall to come back around to them. Behind the fan was Jon who was using his super powered cold breath to blow into the fan as means of AC.

"This day sucks!" Tim groaned as he laid in a sweaty pile on the floor.

"It's worse than the desert" Damian complained as the electric fan breezed past him and towards Tim. "For once I wish I was in school. At least they have AC!"

"Here here!" Tim called.

"Why aren't you in school? It's a Friday isn't it?" Dick asked as he walked into the room with lemonade. If anyone was enjoying this hear it was him. He used it as an excuse to make Popsicles and lemonade. He even went the extra mile to get water guns that the boys swuirted at each other after one of them passed out from heat.

Tim scoffed and sat up, leaving a wet imprint of his back on the floor.

"They closed our school for the day because of the heat wave."

"Who closes down a school for a heat wave?" Jason snickered.

"Yeah back in my day-" Dick started.

"You rode a dinasour to school we get it, you're old" Tim huffed as he fanned himself.

Damian was busy fanning Titan to add to the conversation.

Titan laid on the hard floor, tongue out, and chest heaving up and down.

Titus wasn't fairing much better as he sat next to the water bowl, lapping up the luke warm water as means to cool himself down.

Jon stopped blowing and breathed heavily.

"Hey!" Jason said as he sat up "Who told you you could stop!? The fan just came back around to me!"

Jon frowned at him as he caught his breath and said "I'm not a slave!"

Tim frowned "What do we feed you for?" He said with as scowl before pulling up his phone and dialing a number. Someone answered on the other side and Tim said "Hey, if you come over and be our AC we'll feed you."

"I'm so there!" Kon's voice boomed before he hung out.

Maybe a minute later Kon flew through the door and landed behind the fan. He inhaled deeply before starting to blow through the fan.

Everyone sighed in relief as the cool air breezed over them.

Jon wrinkled his nose and said "Ew Kon! What did you just eat?"

Kon stopped to say "A just had a monster burrito!"

Everyone exclaimed and jumped up groaning. "Kon! Your breath stinks!" they all groaned.

He shrugged "What? It's not that bad!"

Titan got a wiff and got up to move. "My breath isn't even that bad!" He grumbled as he walked over to Titus to take a turn drinking water.

It was at that moment the fan started to slow down and stop.

"What happened? Did you break the fan?!" Jason exclaimed as he ran over to the fan unplugging it and plugging it back in as a desperate attempt to get it working again but the fan didn't respond.

"We burned it out!" Tim whimpered before groaning and leaning against the wall pathetically, ready to cry.

Alfred walked into the room and looked at all of them "Need I remind you all that you own a pool?"

Everyone froze and Dick turned to look at Alfred "We have a pool?"

Selina walked in and looked at all of them "How do you not know you have a pool?"

"We never used it!" Dick defended.

"Well screw this!" Jason exclaimed as he shoved away the fan and ran out the door.

Titan looked at Titus and they both ran outside and around the house. Low and behold was the pool they never noticed.

"What the heck? When did we get a pool?" Titus panted.

"Does it matter?" Titan exclaimed before he ran and jumped in.

It wasn't long before everyone came out jumped into the water.
They could hear the sizzle that came off their body when they dived in.

"This is great!" They all exclaimed as they took a sigh of relief.

Then if became a whole party. Dick brought out music, Alfred pulled out the grill, and the umbrellas were opened.

Bruce joined them and Damian frowned at him "Father, don't you have a company?"

"Yeah, I thought you had an important meeting today" Tim said.

Bruce shrugged "The heat wave boys, the heat wave." he jumped in and a huge wave of water washed over the boys.

Titan and Titus jumped in and out of the pool multiple times.

"Man! The fish would love this!" Titan exclaimed as he thought about the fish in Damian's room.

Alfred must have called a few people because Barbara and Stephanie showed up with Clark and Louis.

Alfred made hamburgers and hot dogs while everyone played in the water.

Titan and Titus ran around the pool happily and while Titus was relaxing Titan sneaked up on him to push him in but ended up just falling in himself.

It was a whole pool party and by the end of it they were all heading inside.

When they stepped inside the ac attacked their wet bodies and they shivered.

"Oh, now it wants to work!" They all exclaimed as they ran to get changed.

As soon as Damian changed Titus and Titan decided to shake out their fur right next to him.

It was a good summer day!

Man! I want summer to be here already!😭🌞😆🤣🔥 What about you guys? You ready for summer?
