Over dinner

"Uh hi." I stood there awkwardly in Scott's kitchen while they looked at me. I tried to look at Scott or Liam for help but they turned away obviously on strict instruction to not be nice. I bit my lip.

"Right let's get this show on the road." Melissa finally came downstairs and stood in front of me.

"Would you guys stop staring at Theo likes he's some new species?" She said and everyone turned away awkwardly. They were all here. All of Scott's pack.

Scott was talking to Malia and Kira once again avoiding my eyes and drooling over Isaac who was talking to Mason and Corey along with Liam. The twins were there with their boyfriends. Chris and Peter stood with Allison and Lydia who Allison had a fat crush on. I'm surprised she wasn't on the floor dead! I still needed to speak to her, I hadn't since the library incident. I really meant to it's just... well Liam. Stiles and Derek were with Stiles' dad and I could tell Derek was sucking up. I didn't know the guy well but I knew he really liked Stiles.

"Uh Melissa..." I said softly. She nodded. "What did you mean by 'show on the road' ?"

"Nothing for you to worry about dear, now come with me." I followed her upstairs where she stopped outside a wooden door.

"Now I'm not taking no for an answer. Scott will take you to get your stuff afterwards." I frowned very confused. Melissa pushed open the door and I took a few steps forward so I was now standing in the doorframe. It was a tidy room, there was a bed in the far corner next to what I thought was a very large desk, bigger than one I'd have got myself. Across from that, along one of the walls was a huge unit filled with different drawers and cubbyholes for clothes and other random shit. And finally opposite that was a blank white wall.

"I'm confused." I said turning round back to Melissa. She smiled.

"This is your room Theo." The words went in one ear and flew out the other.

"I-"

"Now what did I say? I'm not taking no for an answer. This is your room now Theo." I didn't know what to do my mind had gone blank. I hugged Melissa tight, something I don't do very often.

"Thank you." I whispered and she smiled

"It's the least we could do." I pulled back looking into the room once again.

"All of this is mine?" I asked and she nodded.

"There's just a few rules. No funny business while I'm in the house. Do that on your own time. No getting girls pregnant-"

"Woah! Woah trust me that's not going to happen." I said laughing and Melissa frowned.

"May I ask you to develop on that?" She said.

"I'm extremely gay." I said and Melissa was shocked for a moment but composed herself.

"Wow I really wasn't expecting that." She said and I laughed.

"My sexuality is one of the only parts of me that I really couldn't care less about. People will judge but that's a part of life I suppose." I shrugged and Melissa smiled.

"Well thank you for telling me. May I ask about the lucky guy?"

"I'm sure you can figure that one out." I said and a look of realisation dawned on her face.

"Liam!"

"Yeah?" The boys voice called up from the bottom of the stairs.

"Oh never mind honey!" She said and I burst out laughing.

"Since when!"

"Oh it's a long story! I'll be happy to explain it to you over dinner?" Melissa smiled at me.

"Of course." We walked back downstairs and I smiled at Liam standing next to him. I laced our fingers together secretly, we hadn't exactly told anyone we were together except for the people who were involved at the school the day we sorted everything out. I'm sure it had been passed around but they were giving us our privacy and I was thankful for that.

"What's up with you." He asked turning to look up at me.

"I feel good." I said and he smiled, "really good."

Melissa started speaking again so we focused our attention back on her.

"Well now we've got that sorted, time to eat." She brought out multiple pizza's seemingly nowhere. They were dominoes boxes. I used to love dominoes when I was a kid. I smiled remembering the time I had gone to Stiles' house with Scott and we'd feasted on them until we were sick.

Everyone practically attacked the pizza grabbing a few slices each on a plate before returning to the living room.

I stayed in the kitchen with Liam, Scott, Isaac and Melissa.

"So, maybe you could tell me that story now." Melissa said and I laughed picking up a slice of pizza and putting it on a plate.

Liam looked at me and smiled as I took a deep breath taking a bite of the pizza. I hadn't eaten a proper meal in weeks so when the rich tomato and creamy cheese hit my tongue it was a relief and only then did I realise how hungry I actually was. I wasn't going to eat like a pig though. I'd finish that slice and that was it. I swallowed the last bit of pizza and put my plate down.

Scott tore another slice off and put it on my plate. I looked up at him confused.

"Eat. You need it more than we do." I smiled. I took a bite of the next slice of pizza and the alarms went off in my head. It was like my brain telling me not to, not to eat. What if it was poisoned? What if this was all fake and they were trying to kill me? What if Liam was lying...

I threw the pizza back onto the plate. "I can't eat it!" I blurted out. "Please don't make me eat it, I can't eat it!" Liam placed a hand on my arm as Melissa looked at me concerned.

"Theo it's okay you don't have to eat it." I looked at him. "But I thought you wanted to eat it?"

"I-I do..." I said confused myself.

"Then eat it. You're in control of your body." Liam squeezed my arm. I picked up the pizza and took another bite. Again, the alarms went off. Now I felt sick. I ran to the sink spitting out the pizza and throwing up the previous slice I ate. My head was spinning. I felt a warm hand on my back and instantly knew it was Liam rubbing circles down my spine. I lifted my head up.

"I can't eat it. I want to but I can't. Why can't I eat it!" I asked looking around the room, a few of the others had returned to the kitchen and were confused by my hysteria.

I looked up at Liam who looked just as clueless as the rest of them. I turned to Melissa who looked like she was having a deep thought.

"Melissa?"

"Theo I think you have an eating disorder."
