"I'm sorry it just slipped out!" Liam was panicking now pacing around the room. I didn't quite know what to say.

"Look I know I have no right too after what I did to you but Theo... I think I've always loved you."

"Liam I..." I couldn't do it. I couldn't let myself be exposed to him again, I'd get myself hurt all over again. I'm not meant to be hurt. Theo Raeken doesn't get hurt. Liam saw the look on my face and nodded.

"I get it. I'll go get Melissa." He walked towards the door.

"Liam I-"

"I get it. I'll be back soon okay?" He managed a small smile and I nodded. He opened the door and left. I listened to him walk away, his heart beat was rapid and I knew he was crying. My wrists itched for me to do it. But I couldn't. I had to stop.

I picked up the vase that sat empty on my bedside table and threw it at the wall in front of me. Everything was falling apart. I had a stupid eating disorder, people knew I hurt myself and I'd pretty much just lost Liam. After a day.

A tear trickled down my face, I wiped it away frustrated with myself for crying. I don't cry. But I couldn't help as the tears continued to roll down my face one after the other.

"Theo Liam told me-" I tried to wipe the tears away before Melissa saw anything but it was too late.

"Oh Theo." She walked around the bed and sat down on the side next to me.

"Oh honey." She whispered. "Are you okay?" She then laughed.

"That was a stupid question." I chuckled and Melissa smiled at me.

"What's up?" She asked.

"It's just so much at once." I breathed. She just listened as I ranted. "I was perfectly fine with eating until I met the dread doctors and they weren't exactly qualified in parenting especially not for a ten year old. I was ten Melissa, ten. A ten year old shouldn't have to beg for food in the streets." She squeezed my hand. "So I just didn't, I'd wait till they went out, steal some money and go to the shop and get something small. I couldn't take too much because they'd notice ya know?" I sighed.

"I guess you can tell they didn't leave much." Melissa squeezed my hand again. "I haven't been doing this for that long though." I gestured to my wrists.

"How long?"

"Just a month. Ever since..." the words felt bitter on my tongue.

"Ever since you and Liam broke up." I nodded.

"Does he know?"

"Oh god no!" I blurted out, "Do you know how crazy he'd drive himself over that! He'd think it's his fault and it isn't."

"You do it to punish yourself." I bit my lip.

"It's not just that." I sighed, "It's a lot of reasons." Melissa nodded.

"And I think I've just lost Liam for good." My eyes stung again.

"Oh honey why?"

"He told me he loved me and... and I didn't say it back."

"Why not?"

"I can't get hurt again Melissa I can't. The amount of problems it's caused for not just me but for everyone else. I can't do it again..."

"Do you love Liam?" She asked seriously.

"Of course I do..."

"Then you've got to tell him. Or you'll regret it for the rest of your life. You deserve to be happy Theo, and I know Liam makes you happy." I nodded.

"Do you think you can stand?" She asked and I looked down at the bandages on my wrists. I pulled them off quickly before Melissa could say anything.

"Theo what are you-" The cuts were gone. The only thing that was still there was the dried blood on the bandages but other than that, it was all gone.

"It's a wonder what a good conversation can do." I said laughing. Melissa smiled.

"Right you get dressed and I'll see about getting you discharged." She said and I smiled.

"Thank you." I said and Melissa smiled.

"Your clothes are in that drawer, I managed to get the blood out." She said and I chuckled.

"What would I do without you?"

"Everything that has lead up to now Theo, that's why I'm not going anywhere." I smiled and she left to give me my privacy. I got dressed and left the room. I spotted Liam instantly. He was sat on one of the chairs near the front desks where I saw Melissa on the computer.

"You have to tell him." She mouthed and I nodded. I sat down next to Liam and he looked up at me.

"Melissa's getting me discharged." I showed him my wrists. "All healed."

"That's great!" Liam said sincerely. I nodded awkwardness filling my body. I looked back to Melissa who was making pushing motions with her hands. I sighed.

"Look Liam-" He cut me off.

"Like I said. I get it. Don't worry about it."

"That's not what I was going to say." I said and Liam turned his head to face me.

"What we're you going to say?"

I took a deep breath. "You don't know how hard this is..." I breathed. Liam put a hand on my arm.

"Hey, take your time. No rush." Liam smiled filling me with warmth. And I knew in that moment that everything was going to be okay, Liam loved me. That's all that mattered.

I pressed my lips to Liams, fitting them together perfectly. Liam gasped and I laughed pulling back and pressing our foreheads together.

"I love you Liam." I let the words fall from my mouth finally Liam pulled away looking in my eyes as if to search them for any doubt.

"You're just saying that..." he said and I squeezed his hand.

"I love you Liam. I'm sorry I couldn't say it sooner."

"If we weren't in this hospital right now I'd jump on you." He said breathlessly. I kissed him again then leant down by his ear.

"I wouldn't mind that." I whispered and Liam shuddered. I could smell the arousal coming off him in waves.

Melissa cleared her throat next to us and I chuckled at the way Liam jumped.

"Your release papers." She tapped me on the head with them. I thanked her. I knew without werewolf senses Melissa could tell Liam was getting impatient.

"I'll be home at six, I expect you both to be tidy and fully clothed by the time I get back. Here are my car keys, I'll get Scott to bring me home." She chucked the keys to me and I caught them. Liam blushed.

"I'll see you at home Theo." I nodded grabbing Liam by the hand and running outside with the keys and papers in my hand. We got into the car and Liam turned to me.

"Promise you won't do it again." He said and I smiled.

"I promise."
