"Theo I need you to tell us what happened."

I stared at the floor as Melissa held my hand. Liam hadn't been allowed in and I missed his presence. I didn't know whether our fight was on hold or forgiven or what? I just needed him.

"I broke Gabe's arm." I said looking up at Ms Martin.

"Okay... and why was that."

"He grabbed me by the collar."

"I-"

"And then I punched him in the nose and told him to shut the hell up. I also punched Nolan in the face and knocked him out because he pulled my jacket off." I added.

"All because he grabbed you by the collar?" I shrugged.

"Right..."

"Theo where are your parents?" I felt Melissa's grip on me tighten.

"Dead." I said.

"Who do you live with?"

"Melissa."

"Is she your legal guardian."

"No, I'm not. I plan to adopt Theo but the process takes a while." I looked at Melissa in shock but she didn't look back keeping her eyes fixed on Ms Martin.

"I see. Melissa you also are a legal guardian of Isaac Lahey right?"

"Yes I am. I never adopted him though he's a friend of Scott's and he needed a place to stay. Adoption wasn't something he wanted so I respected his wishes." She knew about Scott and Isaac all along. She knew they would end up together.

"Theo what you did today cannot be taken lightly. Injuring another student, two might I add is serious." I nodded.

"I would usually suspend, even expel a student but in this case I'm willing to let it slide due to your condition." I frowned.

"My condition?" I said confused. Ms Martins eyes flitted down to my wrists and I pulled the sleeves of my jacket down uncomfortably.

"That'll be all." She nodded to Melissa who nodded back and we got up. When we left I expected Melissa to scream at me but she didn't.

"Why didn't you call me." She sighed hugging me.

"You wouldn't have made it in time. It hurt so bad..." I said my eyes filling with tears again.

"From now on someone is going to be with you at all times. The boys, me and Liam okay? If I'm not there and you need anything. You call me okay!" She said and I nodded.

"Melissa?" I asked.

"Yes honey."

"Do you really want to adopt me?" She pulled back and smiled.

"Of course."

"But you don't even know me?"

"No. But i know who you want to be. And I have no doubt you will turn into that person. I'm gonna get you medication, something I should've done over the weekend but it slipped my mind and you'll be good in no time!"

"Thank you." I said hugging her again. She smiled.

She took me home then. It felt good to call Melissa's place my home now. I liked being here.

"Hungry?" She asked and I thought for a moment.

"Yeah actually."

"What would you like, anything that your heart desires." I thought again.

"Pasta. I haven't had pasta in years," I said and Melissa smiled.

"Coming right up."

I pulled my phone out of my bag and saw a new message from Liam.

Schools ended early, everyone been sent home! I'll be at urs soon x

I smiled just as the door opened. Liam walked in with Scott and Isaac. Liam ran over and hugged me again. I held him close.

"I love you." He said and I smiled.

"I love you too." Liam pressed his lips to mine softly.

"God I missed that. Even if it was only for a day." I laughed and looked over at Scott and Isaac. The two were a little apart from each other and Isaac watched us sadly. Scott could clearly see that and he knew I could too. He looked at me and I nodded.

"Oh screw it!" He cupped Isaac's face and pressed their lips together. Isaac was surprised but composed himself quickly pulling Scott closer to him.

"Hey hey watch it you two!" Melissa said pointing a finger at the both of them.

"Mom!" Scott whined breaking his lips away. Isaac laughed. Melissa put her hands on her hips.

"Do I need to remind you both of the rules."

"No Mom you don't." Melissa chuckled.

"Just checking." She turned back to the pasta.

"Do you guys want some?"

"yeah!" Isaac said excitedly. "I love pasta!" Scott smiled up at him.

"Okay." Melissa chuckled. "Scott? Liam?"

"Yes please Melissa." Liam said.

"Yeah Mom."

"Okay, could you boys set the table?"

"Uh I need to um get something from my room I'll be back down in a minute." Scott said and I could see his eyes linger on Isaac for a moment. The boy got the hint.

"Uh I need the bathroom." He ran up the stairs.

"Rules!" Melissa shouted up to him.

"Got it!"

"They are gonna do my head in!" She said and I smiled. We set the table for Melissa and she thanked us. I pulled Liam away after we were done to the living room.

"What's up?" He asked.

"I just want to say sorry again for yesterday. I was just mad at being blamed for everything but now I see why I was blamed and whatever but-" Liam cut me off with a kiss.

"Your forgiven." He said. "And I'm sorry for not answering your call. If I'd have known-"

"Hey it's fine. I wasn't trying to blame you but I tried to tell people and- well it didn't work." Liam wrapped his arms around me.

"I love you." He said and I sucked in a shaky breath.

"I love you too Li." We heard the door open and shut and suddenly there was multiple more voices in the house.

"Oh I didn't know the pack was coming over." Liam said holding my hand and trying to walk back into the kitchen. I let go my heart rate increasing.

"Theo?" Liam turned to me and saw my expression.

"T-they're all here?" I managed to say struggling to breathe.

"Hey it's okay. You're okay right? We don't have to go out there, we can stay. You can stay with me." I slid down the wall my breathing still uneven.

Liam sat down in front of me. "Theo focus on my breathing. Try and match it." He took a deep breath in and I tried to do the same but it was like there was no space in my lungs for more air.

"Okay that didn't work!" Liam said. "I'll be back in a minute." He rushed out into the kitchen I assumed to get Melissa. He came back in with her and she knelt down beside me.

"I tried to get him to match my breathing but it didn't work!" Liam was panicking now and I could see the terror in his eyes.

"What set of the panic attack?"

"I think it was when everyone arrived? But I'm not sure!" Stiles walked in then which didn't help.

"Stiles out!" Melissa said but he didn't go anywhere. He just whispered something in Liams ear then left.

Liam knelt down in front of me again and pressed his lips to mine. My breathing stopped and my heart rate slowed. He broke off.

He sighed and wrapped his arms around me again.

"Stop scaring me." He chuckled.

"I'll try." I said back burying my head in his shoulder.
