Sheriff Stilinski released my bonds that same afternoon after finding out that these animal attacks were actually animal attacks. They had caught the culprit, a escaped coyote from a zoo a couple miles away.

"Well Raeken I guess it's your lucky day." I rolled my eyes.

"Yeah, yeah. Just get these off me." He smiled.

"We missed you kid." He said unlocking the padlock that kept me chained to the bed. I pulled my wrist free and flexed my arm. He did the other one and I was finally free.

"Thanks." I mumbled and she Sheriff nodded before leaving the room. He had obviously got Melissa who came in a few moments later.

"All free I see." I nodded.

"So." She put some pill bottles down on the bed. "Lithium, quetitapine, Lurasidone and Lamitrogine." I frowned.

"Why so many?"

"Theo this isn't something that is going to go away. The last two are just a little booster the main two are Lithium and quetitapine. You'll need to take two doses a day. One when you wake up and one when you go to sleep. If the mania gets bad, take the other two. Got it?" I nodded.

"You'll need regular blood tests every three months to check that your lithium levels aren't to high or too low. If depressive or manic episodes get really bad you'll need to contact someone immediately. Sessions with a therapist are optional but it is highly recommend. Regular exercise can be good, planning activities you enjoy, hanging out with people you enjoy being with, improving your diet and getting more sleep all factors that can help you cope with Bipolar disorder."

"But the most effective treatment shown is talking about it. The more talking the better." Melissa took one of each pill out of the first two bottles and handed them to me.

"Swallow." She gave me a bottle of water and I took the two pills.

"Great. Now about Liam-"

"There's no point." I sighed, "Liam doesn't want to see me."

"You don't know that. Maybe after he finds out about your-"

"Whatever this bloody thing is that I have is not going to be an excuse for anything I do. I chose to leave, I have to suffer the consequences. And if that means Liam never speaks to me again. So be it."

"Theo he will-" Melissa was cut off by a loud bang that rattled the hospital. We shared a look and I leapt up from the bed pulling on my clothes that were folded over a chair in the corner.

"Theo I wouldn't..."

"I don't care. Whatever that was I'm going to kill it." I swung open the door glancing back at Melissa. "Stay in here, don't move. If anyone comes in hit them with your clipboard." She nodded and I left the room looking around at the blacked out hospital.

There was a few flickering lights on here and there but other than that, pitch black. I could hear screams and shouts from patients, doctors and nurses. I could see their bodies pressed up against the walls or clambering inside hospital rooms. I continued down the hall thankful for my enhanced eyesight and hearing. There was another bang and the floor shook underneath me. I let out a growl running towards the stairs and speeding down them bursting out on the ground floor.

"Well well well." I heard her voice and as much as I'll never admit it to anyone, it sent chills down my spine. "I told you I'd be back." Monroe said smiling her sickly smile. I grinned at the thought of plucking her teeth out one by one.

"Where's Scott? Surely he wouldn't want to miss the fun." She said cocking her gun. I laughed.

"You think Scott's going to waste his time with you?" I said, "Scott's a little too busy for you nowadays."

"What about the rest of your pathetic little pack?" She asked and I glanced behind her seeing Nolan and Gabe cowering in her shadow. I raised an eyebrow at them as if to say 'really. Again?' They both looked at me with pure fear in their eyes and I almost felt bad for them. Almost. But then I remembered the cafeteria and all empathy was lost.

"I'm afraid to say it Monroe but unlike you some of us have a life outside being murderous bitches. Oh shoot sorry, that's just you..."

"I guess you would know all about that too wouldn't you Theo." My smile faltered a little.

"What do you want Monroe. Surely you unleashed enough hell on beacon hills the first time?"

"No I don't think I did." She said twisting a wolfsbane bullet between her fingers. "As long as Scott and his dumb pack are still around, I'll never be done with this town." She glanced at something on the front desk.

"Oh." She said amused, "Bipolar disorder is it." I growled deep in my throat. Monroe looked at me amused.

"No emergency contact... oh wait- what's this? Melissa Mcall." She let out a mock gasp.

"Guess you got a lot closer to the Mcalls since I was last here Huh? What was it, a year ago?" I swallowed.

"You guys still in senior year?"

"Yeah I mean. Being faced with a psycho guidance counsellor isn't a regular occurrence unfortunately so we had to take some time out. I'm sure you can understand."

"Did they ever find out about you and Liam?"

"You leave Liam out of this!"

"Struck a nerve?" She asked amused.

"I heard about your little running away escapade. Three months? Wow congratulations. I know first hand how hard it is to stay away from Scott and Liam... of course when all you wanna do is be with them. For different reasons of course." She wanted to kill Scott again. Course she did.

"Cut the bullshit. Why are you here?"

"Isn't it obvious?" She said placing the wolfsbane bullet down on the counter, "I have unfinished business." She cocked her gun again.

"Yeah?" I said amused, "Well so do I." I growled lunging for her just as she fired the first bullet. I dived past it just as I felt the pain in my back.

Well shit!
