CH36 Get out

After Jimin turned his back on me, I went back inside the guest room. I sat at the end of the bed trying to process what had just happened. He was standing outside the room all this time, but didn't let me know.

I calmed myself and was about to flop my body onto the bed, but suddenly I heard yelling from outside the room. I was curious, so I stood up and peeped at the door to see Jimin's mum yelling outside mine and Jimin's shared room. She is ordering Jimin to open the door for her, but nothing happens. She kept on asking Jimin for a few more minutes, but Jimin still didn't open for her. I waited until she left and went to find the maid to get the key to our room. At first, she didn't move a muscle of hers, and I got it. She was sending me the message that she couldn't do it and she was worried she would be scolded. However, I told her I would take responsibility for it, and she nodded and went to get the key. When she came back, she handed over the key. I thanked her and asked her to go back to sleep since it was already late and that I would take care of everything.

"Jimin ah. I'm coming in."

I yelled a bit louder after I knocked thrice, but I didn't wait for him to permit me in as I was worried about what he was doing inside. I turned the keys and pushed the door open and saw him standing in the middle of the huge room until my eyes caught something that worried me.

"Jimin, your hand is bleeding,"

I said, full of concern. I was really worried about him. Then, I was about to take my next step to get near him, but he held his hand up, sending me a sign.

'Stop, don't come near me.'

What pains me more is the next sign he made.

'GET OUT...'

Tears start clouding my eyes, but I try my hardest not to let them fall in front of him.

'You earned it, Y/N. You're at fault. '

I reminded myself before storming out of the room and going to find another maid for help. I know they must be sleeping already, but I know they will understand me. I asked the maid to bring a first aid kit to Jimin's room and help him treat his wound. I told her that I was sorry for disturbing her sleep and thanked her for the help before going back to the guest room where I slept.

I woke up the next morning at the usual time, as I had woken up before. Every morning I wake up before Jimin to help the maid serve the food for breakfast. So that's what I did today. I want to try to fix everything, make things back to normal like before, to start again perhaps. So I get up quickly and have a quick shower before heading to the kitchen to help the family chef prepare. But when I reached the kitchen, all was done. He told me that he had been asked by Jimin to cook food earlier than usual. So I just smiled and said "sorry" and left the kitchen with the hope that maybe this would be the beginning of us starting again. But when I reached the dining room, my world crashed again. Jimin was already eating. He was sitting at the other end of the long table, which was the place where his father sat when he was still alive. That seat was far from where Jimin was supposed to sit, which is beside mine.

So he doesn't want to get near me, like what happened last night in his room when he stopped me and asked me to go out without saying a word. But what's worse is that his mum is sitting there already and enjoying her time chatting with the surrogate she hired.

'Why is she still here? I thought Jimin didn't want her here. Did he change his mind?'
