One of the newcomers of the Ki Hero. Ryu Senjin (now Takameya). Despite not having a quirk like others, Ryu refuses to give up his dream of being a hero. After his parents died, he was taken in and adopted by Mt. Lady. She supported his dream and was inspired to be a hero by his refusal to give up!
When he comes across an old man, he gives him a book and begins to study Ki. Ki functions differently with most people. In Ryu's case, it makes his attacks so strong they emit gusts of air pressure. (Like fighter Kirby from the Kirby franchise.)
Ryu decided to use this to his advantage and come up with his new fighting style. Ryu has a crush on and is currently dating Itsuka Kendo who also encouraged him to continue his dream of being a hero. They studied martial arts together with her grandfather.
