Chapter 16: Meet Eri

Izuku was fast asleep in his room. His alarm clock went off and he started to get up, but noticed something had him in its grasp. He removed the covers to reveal Eri snuggling up with him, like a daughter would with her father. He couldn't help but smile at how adorable she was. He gave her a small kiss on her forehead. Later he wrote a small note and put it on the desk.

'Eri, I am in the back of the dorms, doing some training. If you need me, you'll find me there.

-Love Izuku'

Izuku did a few training exercises with his Ki. He also took the opportunity to work on his new shoot style combat. Shoot style is a fighting style which had Izuku focus on his legs, since they could handle more stress than his arms. He heard the door open revealing Eri wiping her eyes.

"Papa?" she asked.

Izuku blushed, remembering what she started to call him. He then smiled.

"Yes Eri?" he asked.

Eri rubbed her tummy and said, "I'm hungry."

"Well, what do you wanna eat Eri?" Izuku asked.

The two of them were caught by an auroma of apples and cinammon.

"Something smells good," Izuku said, "Let's get some food."

He picked her up and tickled her tummy. She giggled and squirmed. The two of them went inside to see Ochako making some pancakes with fried apples.

"Something smells good," Izuku said.

"Oh that's just me," Ochako said, "While Eri and I were getting to know each other, I found out she loves apples."

"Wow that smells good Mama," Eri said.

"Mama?" someone asked, startling the three.

They all turned to see Mina.

"Wait a minute, you two had a child?!" Mina asked.

Izuku and Ochako turned red.

"Nonononononono!" the round faced OFA user said.

"We're still too young for that!" Izuku said.

Eri hid behind Izuku's leg.

"Anyway, this is Eri." Ochako said. "Let's just say, she was rescued and Nezu asked Izuku to watch over her."

"I volunteered too but yea," Izuku said, "Plus she's shy around new people so try not to surprise her."

Mina bent down and spoke in a calm voice.

"It's ok I won't hurt you," she said.

Eri slowly walked over to her. Mina smiled.

"I'm.... I'm Eri," Eri said.

"I'm Mina," she said, "hey is that a horn?"

Eri touched her horn and nodded.

"I have two," she said, showing them.

Eri was surprised.

After eating breakfast, Eri was taken by Ochako to get changed. Using one of her brother's credit cards, she managed to get some new clothes for Eri so she wouldn't be stuck in a robe. Later on she was on Ochako's lap while watching Tv. Someone else came down. It was Hinata.

"Who's this little girl?" she asked.

"This is Eri. She's being put under UA's care and Izuku adopted her. I'm volunteering." Ochako said.
