Chapter 31: Internship's End
Izuku woke up on the hospital bed in Hosu. By his side was Ochako. She started to wake up realizing Izuku was up as well.
"Morning," she said with a smile.
"Ochako! Is everyone ok? Fire breather?" Izuku asked.
"You stopped him," Izuku said, "Everyone is ok now."
"Thank god," Izuku said, "What about you? Are you alright?"
"Deku, you're talking to a girl who is All Might's successor, and most of the time its me that saves your ass. So yea I'm more than ok. Especially after I do this."
She then captured his lips with her own and they shared a kiss.
"Ugh, get a goddamn room!" Tadashi said.
Izuku turned to Tadashi who was resting on a bed.
"Oh like you have room to talk Mr 'smooch the class president in front of class,' Izuku said.
"Hey!" Tadashi said.
The doors barged open and Inko rushed to her son, hugging him and shaking him around.
"OH MY BABY BOY, ARE YOU OK, DID YOU GET HURT?!" Inko asked while sobbing
"No mom I'm fine," Izuku said
After Inko finished her hug, she looked to see a familiar person. That same person who was Nana looked at Inko. Inko started to walk over to her. Nana felt her face as tears began to flow down her face.
"Inko?"
"......Mom?"
Nana then embraced her daughter before looking at her.
"......You're so big," she said.
Inko embraced her mother and cried tears of happiness, finally seeing her mother after so many years.
"Mom who's that woman you're hugging?" Izuku asked, "A relative?"
"No Izuku," Inko said, "This is your grandmother."
"Grandmother?" Izuku asked.
"Wait... Isn't Nana Shimura your grandmother?" Gran Torino asked.
"Wait.... Dad is this true?" Izuku asked.
Gran Torino whacked Toshinori with his cane.
"You dumb fuck!! Did you not tell him that?!" He shouted.
"....And you said I have a potty mouth," Tadashi said
"Its nice to finally meet you Izuku," Nana said, "From what I heard from Gran Torino, your ki allows you to mimic quirks."
"Correct," Izuku said, "Its nice to finally meet you Grandma."
Nana walked over to Izuku and gave him a hug, one he returned in kind. Nana looked over to Ochako.
"And this must be All Might's successor," Nana said.
"Yes ma'am," Ochako said, "Its nice to meet my boyfriend's grandmother."
"Well, looks like everyone is doing well," Hinata said walking into the room.
"Hinata, are you doing alright?" Ochako asked.
"We brought Jishiki too, but he's having a bit of trouble," Hinata said.
"What kind of trouble?" Izuku asked.
"The door seems to be locked," Jishiki said.
"You may be pushing the key hole," Iida said.
"Wait what?" Jishiki asked, "A Pee hole?"
"No a key hole," Iida said, "There's a button under the handle! Push that in."
Jishiki did as instructed. He then peeked through the door window.
"Ok.... Now what?"
"Open the FUCKING door!" Iida shouted.
Jishiki ripped the door off of its hinges. Rumi looked and chuckled.
"And I thought I was rough with doors!" she said.
Everyone was talking and Hinata walked outside to get away from the commotion. She saw a little boy sitting on the chair. She went to check on him.
"Are you ok?" she asked.
The little boy nodded. This was the little boy that Hinata managed to save during the skirmish on her internship. He had just been separated from his guardians and hasn't been able to find them since then.
Hinata bent down and looked at him.
"What's your name?"
"Kota."
"Well I talked with some people. It looks like I'm gonna be your guardian."
"Really?" Kota asked
"Yes. You don't have to worry anymore. I'll take care of you and help you any way I can"
Those words reminded Kota of two people he knew too well. He teared up and hugged Hinata.
"Thank you..... Mama."
Hinata teared up. She then started to cry while embracing Kota.
"Of course I'll be your mama!!" She said, "You're my baby! You're my baby and I love you so much!!"
She continued crying while hugging him.
"Hinata, what's with the loud crying?" Jishiki asked.
Kota looked at the griffin.
"Mama is that papa?"
Jishiki blushed being called that.
"Yep that's papa!" Ochako said
Kota then hugged the griffin boy.
"Papa!!"
"I'm a Dad? So THAT'S where babies come from! They come from beating the shi- er... crap out of villains!" Jishiki said.
Midnight walked into the area to see Hinata and Jishiki hugging a little boy.
Hinata turned to Midnight.
"Mom, Jishiki and I have decided to adopt Kota as our son," Hinata said.
"T-t-this means..... I'm a grandma?" Midnight asked.
Hinata nodded.
Jishiki then opened up a tiny umbrella and put it over his head and waited for the water works to happen. Midnight and Hinata started crying together.
Everyone else's internships were going well. Jiro helped out with an evacuation while working with Death Arms. Ryu was training in various weapons. He also learned how to use the weapons as a conduit for his ki. Asu... er.... Tsu was working on a ship and helping to deal with trespassers. Everyone was starting to improve.
