Ryu walked into the doors of the person he was interning under. It was none other than Watanabe, the man responsible for most of our heroes using Ki. Watannabe was meditating, but somehow he sensed that Ryu was coming.

"Enter," he said, "kneel boy."

Ryu kneeled.

"Were you surprised when I sent you an offer?" Watannabe asked.

"To be honest, sir, I was-"

"Please, I helped you train to use Ki, and I've seen you in action a few times. I think we're above you calling me sir."

"Ok then... Tai."

Watannabe thought for a minute. "A little weird, but I'll allow it. That being said, you did well in the sports festival, but you have more to learn."

"I'm sure I do," Ryu said, "I got lucky in those last few fights, but got my ass handed to me by Yagi."

"Yes, yes you did. If he was your enemy, you'd be six feet under." Watanabe told him. "Now shake my hand."

He held out his hand. As soon as he took his hand, Watanabe gripped Ryu's hand tightly and simply threw him over his shoulders as if he were as light as paper.

Watanabe looked down at Ryu.

"Lesson one. If you are ever offered a handshake, throw them over your shoulders as hard as you can." Watanabe said.

"But what if it's a friendly handshake?" Ryu asked.

"NO SUCH THING!!!" Watanabe yelled out.

"Ok...." Ryu said as he got up.

"And another thing," Watanabe said, pointing to his collections of various weapons. "Sometimes your fists or legs won't cut it in combat. It's important to carry an object to use for fighting."

"Um... wouldn't that be cheating?" Ryu asked.

"Cheating?! In a life or death situation? Oh no! And it's okay to kill certain villains. Just ask your griffin friend!" Watanabe told him.

Ryu looked at the many weapons. He saw something that grabbed his interest. It was a Bo-staff.

"I like that one," he said pointing to it.

"Excellent choice! If you're able to master that weapon, then you're able to master them all." Watanabe told him.

"Alright, so when do we-"

Ryu didn't get to finish as he was knocked to the floor by the bo-staff.

"We start now."

"I hope Itsuka is having fun," Ryu said.

Kendo sneezed, Momo taking notice.

"What's wrong?" she asked.

"I thought someone was talking about me," Kendo said, "But nothing serious. This is pretty fun."

"Fun? More like embarrassing," Momo said, "I hate cameras..."

Kendo patted Momo on the back, trying to console her.

"Momo, the commercial wasn't that bad."

"I can't even look at myself in the mirror after that!" Momo said.

Kendo patted momo on the back.

"Everyone's nervous for their first show." she said.

"You're saying you've done this before?"
