Chapter 24: The Final Round

It was time for the final round. Izuku Yagi vs Jishiki Lukita, the lord of the sky. Everyone was at the edge of their seat ready to see these two go at it.

"Well I'll organize Yagi's funeral," Mineta said.

Jiro stabbed him with his earphone jack.

Izuku and Jishiki faced each other in the battlefield. The two were ready to give it their all. Inko was watching closely.

"Gramma what's wrong?" Eri asked.

"I'm scared that Izuku is going to get injured badly." Inko told Eri.

"Don't be scared Gramma," Eri said, "Papa is the greatest! Plus he has some kind of healing quirk too."

"Well... that's true..." Inko said, still worried.

"START!" Midnight shouted.

At that, Izuku and Jishiki immediately charged towards each other with fists already clashing which were loud enough to break the glass all around the stadium. They collided their fists with their palms, trying to push one another then clashed their heads. Jishiki was the one who nearly killed All for One and even gave All Might a run for his money! So he was possibly the strongest fighter Izuku has ever fought. Izuku then reeled his fist back and slugged Jishiki with all he has in the face only for him to tank it with him grabbing Izuku by the back of the head and slammed it onto his knee. He didn't stop there though. Jishiki kept slamming his face onto his knee till he knew he was knocked out! Izuku then grabbed Jishiki by the leg and threw him off of him. Izuku then went after his wing... and bit him on the wing.

"I may be all bark, but I'm also all bite as well!" Izuku said.

Jishiki was squirming, trying to get Izuku off of his wing but he wouldn't let go. Jishiki then started flying high into the sky until the stadium itself looked like a dot and started falling backwards so he'd land on Izuku. When they collided with the ground, it felt like bones had gotten shattered in Izuku's body but he still didn't let go of Jishiki's wing with his mouth. So Jishiki kept doing that until Izuku let go.

But Izuku still didn't let go.

"Fine then... I'LL GO OUT OF THE ATMOSPHERE!!!" Jishiki shouted.

Jishiki then shot up into the sky until he left the atmosphere. He took a deep breath with Izuku still hanging on but scared for life. Jishiki then darted back towards the earth and went straight towards the arena.

"ICARUS... WINGED... IMPACT!!!!!!" Jishiki shouted.

When Jishiki made impact with the arena, a giant explosion went off that even Katsuki could only wish to create! Jishiki finally got up, seemingly burnt himself to a crisp but Izuku let go of his wing. Both sides were burnt and barely breathing. Izuku seemed to have been out of it.

"Should've just let go of my wing..." Jishiki said.

Jishiki was about to walk off until he heard what sounded like a deep breath. He looked back only to see that Izuku had completely healed himself with his hair turning a bright forest green with different colored draconic like auras dancing around him. Jishiki got back into his fighting stance, ready to take on Izuku again.

"BRING IT ON!!! YOU MAY BE ABLE TO HEAL YOURSELF, BUT I'LL STILL BEAT YOU!!!" Jishiki shouted. Izuku didn't respond.

Izuku then rammed his fist into. Izuku then started punching rapidly.

"MAXIMUM... DRACONIC... SMASH!!!!!" Izuku shouted, giving Jishiki one final punch, launching him towards the wall, out of bounds and knocked out.

Izuku then went over to Jishiki to make sure he was ok. He offered him his hand.

"That. Was. Awesome!" Jishiki said.

"Thanks, it was one heck of a fi-AUGH!!!"

Jishiki lifted Izuku up to the air and said, "Your champion!"

"Thank you! But uh... shouldn't you be going to Recovery Girls office? You look pretty bunt up!" Izuku said.

"Meh. Tis but a flesh wound."

Inko saw the whole thing go down. She tried to fight the tears of pride that threatened to come out. Toshinori sighed.

"Here it comes," he said.

"OH MY BABY!!!!!" Inko shouted as a geyser of tears shot up through the roof and towards the sky, causing it to rain.

Izuku and Jishiki then walked off the arena.

"Ochako is going to kill me." Izuku said.

"Hinata is probably booking my funeral right now." Jishiki said.

The two of them saw the perspective girlfriends glaring at them, and tapping their feet on the ground.

"Ahhh fuck," the two said in unison.

Ochako grabbed Izuku by his ear while Hinata grabbed Jishiki by his lion ear. From outside, there were sound effects of punches.

(Later....)

Izuku and Jishiki walked back towards their respective spots with a cartoonish lump on the top of their heads.

"I think they learned their lesson," Ochako said.

"Ditto," Hinata agreed.

Eri came rushing to the two of them, arms wide open.

"PAPA!" she said.

She jumped into Izuku's arms who raised her high in the sky.

"Papa you were great!" Eri said, "You too Mr. Kitty Bird."

"Thanks, Jeri. Of course, I had to go see decoration pearl to heal my burn wounds." Jishiki said.

"It's Eri," Ochako said.

Later on the award ceremony began and everyone got their awards. All Might gave Izuku his reward and smiled.

"You show great promise to be a great hero without a quirk," All Might said before turning to the crowd, "Let this be a lesson to everyone. Anyone can be a hero. Quirk or no quirk. This young man here has been ridiculed for being quirkless, yet against all odds, he pulled through. He'll be a greater hero than I am one day. Go beyond!"

"PLUS ULTRA!" the crowd said.

"Weren't you supposed to say it with them?" Izuku asked.

Meanwhile.....

Gran Torino was waiting outside in a hospital near his apartment. The doctors were working with some kind of machine to melt the ice that trapped a person inside. After a few minutes a nurse came out.

"Its done," she said.

Gran Torino walked into the room. He looked at the face of someone he knew from years back. Nana Shimura.

"Wait.... Who's this old geezer and why is he dressed like Gran Torino?"

"Because.... I am Gran Torino," he answered.

"Wait.... All For One! Toshinori... my daughter I...." Nana began.

"All Might defeated him a long time ago," Gran Torino said, "A lot has happened since you were in suspended animation."

"I'm sorry... what?" Nana said, still a bit confused.

Gran Torino took his seat near Nana and smiled.

"We have a lot to talk about."
