Chapter 23: Continuous Fighting

Shoto was sitting on the bench waiting for his next match. There was something people didn't know about him. He was also a Ki user. He thought back to when he trained with his father

Flashback

Shoto got on his knees but then he got back up. He had finished training his fire part of the quirk he was gifted.

"Don't push yourself too hard Shoto," Rei said.

"Your mother's right son, you may have a great quirk but even you aren't without drawbacks," Endeavor told him.

Endeavor may seem like a tough and stubborn guy at first glance. But in reality he was actually caring for those.

Shoto was the last born in the Todoroki family, and he admired all heroes in the world, including All Might. One day he was looking at his older siblings playing outside with Keigo. Endeavor noticed this.

"Join them," he said, "They may live in a different world than the one you're training for, but they're still your family."

Shoto woke up and faced Izuku.

"Yagi." he said.

Izuku turned to see Todoroki.

"Figuratively speaking, you're the strongest of all of us, despite being quirkless," he said, "But know this. I plan on giving it my all during the battle."

"May the best man win," he said with a smile.

The two contestants went out to the field. Izuku and Shoto were the next match.

"So who do you think will win this one?" Toshinori asked,

"Izuku/Shoto," Rei and Inko said at the same time.

The two then looked at each other and glared.

"I had to ask." Toshinori said.

"Alright, in this corner we have the quirkless wonder who made it this far with his own bare hands, Izuku Yagi, and in this corner we have Shoto Todoroki!"

"Alright! I want a fair clean fight! I don't want any broken bones. Do I make myself clear?" Midnight asked.

"Huh?" Izuku asked.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Todoroki asked.

"Just beat the shit out of each other!" Midnight said.

"Oh!" "Okay then!"

'Dumb asses!' Midnight thought.

At that, Todoroki started summoning a wall of ice that was heading towards Izuku. Izuku immediately shot a ki blast towards the ice, having the wall shatter. This continued for a few minutes until Shoto finally decided to turn up the heat. Literally. He threw a few fireballs at Izuku's way.

Izuku countered this by dodging left and right by moving to the sides. Mina saw this and was intrigued.

"Its as if he's dancing!" she said, "I should teach him a few moves so he's not so stiff!"

Everyone was watching as the battle continued. Toshinori was surprised seeing someone with a quirk, also enhance it using Ki. With fire and ice, Shoto was truly a force to be reckoned with.

"Ho-ly shit," Toshinori said.

Eri turned to Inko with curiosity and asked, "Gramma Inko what does shit mean?"

Inko then turned to her surrogate grandchild.

"Its a grown up word sweetie, you don't need to know it, or say it," Inko said, "Especially not in front of your mama and papa."
