j.potter's POV
-

"That was extremely embarrassing. For you- I mean."

Diana said with a smirk as she smiled down at my mother's ring. I had always admired it when I was younger with the way the diamonds sparkled, the way that the band itself curled and shined in whichever way the light hit it. "You're completely right." I replied as my girl never looked up from her new favorite piece of jewelry.

"I'm not even going to lie they best part of being Mrs. Potter is this ring." She said laughing and then she looked at me with the smile stuck on her face. "Actually no, it's your eyes because I still can figure what fucking color they are." Diana spoke before biting her bottom lip. "Merlin, Jamesie, why are you looking at me like that?" She asked me.

Because your gorgeous and adorable and somehow I got you to be mine. "Well?" I cleared my throat before I answered, "I want to accompany you to Hogsmeade weekend." I said with a smile dawning my face. "I would like that very much but don't you think you should have asked me that before we dated or got married?" Diana said.

"Possibly but I want to take the beautiful Mrs. Potter out for a night on the town." I said to her as we remained pacing laps around the courtyard since the two of us decided class wasn't worth it if we already missed a large portion of it.

"What's got you so smiley?"

"I have a date tonight."

I should not have said that- I shouldn't have fucking said that. "Ohhh boys the lover boy has returned after his long hiatus." Sirius said and nudged Remus, "Woah, Padfoot when did you learn that word?" I spoke in return, and he deadpanned as Remus laughed, "My Fault." Remus said holding his hands out in surrender.

"But seriously who?" Peter asked from beside me. "Her name is uh Cordy- short for Cordelia." I stuttered through, Remus seemed unimpressed and onto me. "Shes got this way blonde hair and these gorgeous brown eyes and her body just perfection." At least most of my statement wasn't a lie.

"Sure, sure but Prongs, how come I've never heard of this Cordy before?" Remus asked crossing his arms and staring me down. "Shes a year younger then us."  And now that was a complete lie since Ranger was about two months older then me. "You male Cougar!" Sirius shouted at me and Peter snorted, "I don't believe that's a thing Pads."

"Oh shut up, I'm just happy your dating after-" Sirius started and Remus reached over, placing his hand over his knee giving it a squeeze, "We don't have to say her name." Remus said and O actually understood why.

Sirius and Remus were talking about Ranger and supposedly the number she put me through but the lack of giving a name was solely for the sake of Peter and his little crush on my wife which meant the girl who hurt me, who crushed my soul would be Lily Evans. Even though my wife truly holds the title from our little break.

"I support you and this Cordy girl if it means you finally getting over the red headed she-devil." Peter said. "Wormtail! I've never heard you insult a woman before." Sirius spoke astounded. I wasn't as shocked to hear those words escape his lips, especially due to the amount of crying give done over her throughout the years.

"Ya know, I got an owl from Ted today very, very concerned that Ranger called in sick today. He asked me if either her heart stopped or she coughed up a lung." Sirius said drinking his water, "Oh Merlin, Are you serious right now?" Remus asked.

"Since she's not here to do it, yes he is Sirius." I piped up and Remus shook his head, "You know what I mean that girl doesn't know what the word break even means- sorry, James." Remus said and I nodded.

I was not worried at all due to the fact she called in sick solely to take the time to glamour herself to fit my description and so that we could go out to night but if I were in their position and heard that Ranger called off work or a commitment because she deemed she wasn't well enough, I'd assume she's been staring down the grim reaper.

"I'm gonna go see her, she wasn't in any class so far today." Remus said picking at his scars, a habit that he had when he was anxious. "Maybe she had a restless night too." Peter suggested.

"She did,"

I winced at myself, "And you didn't help her?" Sirius asked, I helped her. I helped her so much last night. I helped her hold her hips in place as she rolled them over and over again on me. I helped her leave hickeys going down my chest. I helped her cum for Merlin's sake.

"I helped her, got her some tea when she was coughing." I said and he narrowed his eyes. "I do care about her. Just as much as you do maybe even more? Have any of you thought about that?" I spoke while crossing my arms. Remus and Sirius looked away immediately.

"I promise to all of you that I will not let anything bad, not even this black plague of a cold that seems to have infected her." I said and this might've been the most truthful I've spoken this entire conversation.
