I woke up to Sirius jumping on top of me, elbowing me in the stomach. "Where did you sneak off to last night, Prongs?" He asked and I groaned in pain. "I didn't bloody sneak off now get off of me." I said shrugging him off the bed.

"Uh no, because I saw you walk through the entrance of the great hall with Ranger." Sirius said and I heard Remus groan awake. "It seems we are always woken up by you interrogating Prongs, Padfoot." Remus said and he rolled over.
The sun came through the window and hit his back, every scratch and scar was visible.

"Padfoot give him a rest the bloody boy's heart has been owned by Evans since fucking first year." Peter said buttoning up his shirt. "I feel hurt and alone and because of it I'm going to the common room without you all." Sirius said standing up and pointing his fingers in the air.

"Goodbye, Pad." I said smiling as he walked through out dorm door and then Wormtail and Mooney turned to me. "So where did you sneak off?" Peter asked followed up by Remus, "Just don't play with her feelings- yes she has them. Ranger may be our best friend but if you hurt her I will hurt you." Remus said getting up and putting on a shirt.

"I'm not playing with her feelings, Mooney. And Wormtail, we were in the astronomy tower talking nothing that would involve me becoming a heart breaker." I said getting up and putting on a shirt. Is it playing with her feelings if I like her- woah woah woah I need to put the breaks on that statement as the muggles say. I'm just confused- these feelings are just for...Lily! They are for Lily. Like always.

When we got to the great hall we saw Diana talking to Snivillius while she ate and then it hit me and I hit Sirius with my new revelation. "We'll ow Prongs I was under the impression I wouldn't be getting abused after my great escape with you assisted in?!" Sirius yelled and Remus tried to hide his laugh whist Peter was blatantly obvious about his.

"I'm asking Evans to hogsmeade." I said confidently. "Oh yes your a revolutionary." Remus said very unimpressed. "No, Mooney, I'm calling in Ranger to help me- like wingman me and get Evans to say yes." I said and Peter chimed in. "If you manage to date Evans this year, I'll give you 20 galleons." And almost immediately Remus laughed.

"Thanks for the bode of confidence boys." I said and then as breakfast finished I walked over to Diana. I had to dodge her pack of rich ignorant purebloods.

"Potter."
"Blood Traitor."
"Man whore."
"Gryffindork."
"Bitch boy."
"Flea boy."

Ah yes a warm Slytherin welcome. "Oh hey Prongs." She said and smiled at me. She seemed to be followed by the shadow that was Snivillus. "I'm going to speak with Lily." He said and kissed her cheek. "Potter." He said locking eyes with me before walking off. Murder, I want to murder right now. No one gets to kiss her but m- no one, I don't want anyone to kiss her.

"Merlin, I will never understand how you tolerate him." I said and she laughed, "I used to feel like that about you, but hey now we're friends." She said and hit my arm. Why the fuck did that hurt emotionally? "So about that, I'm calling in one of my favors." And she smiled at me. "Ah finally, I thought I'd be in debt for life." And we continued to walk through the crowds.

"Hogsmeade weekend, longer curfew. How do I get Evans- Ranger." I asked in a string of words that don't really make sense but she understood. "I do you owe you, Prongs. But I got this." She said flipping her hair and laughed. "She'll say yes if you ask her, I guarantee." Diana said and looked me in the eyes before entering our defense against the dark arts class.

"Oh thank Merlin." She said as we sat down at a desk. "Oh goodie, Riddle isn't here anymore." I said and she smiled. Why does his name make her so on edge. "So whose our new teacher." She asked me. "Miss. Merrythought." I said as I read the board.
