so let's review
between now and the last time I updated, I have gone through a lot. I have lost 2 family members, I've had a TBI (traumatic brain injury—a really long fucking story 🕺) , I cut off someone that I thought was my best friend, I've had my ED (hint: not erectile dysfunction) flare up, and have hit some other pretty big milestones. I won't be going in depth about anything but I figured this was better than an ominous "I've been through a lot..."
I never thought I'd be one of those writers that made a note after a last update that mimicked something near "sorry guys I had my house burn down but here's a chapter" because I thought those were like BS just to see who reads the authors note.
I've really been put through it the past year and I wanted to be honest.
So here's the truth.
Chasers & Beaters isn't done, it's not fully published, I have had a clear ended in mind since I started writing in June of 2021. I'm not done with Prongs and Ranger or any of the characters I've explored in this fic.
I truly apologize for leaving it hanging so long and when I updated I think late August of 2023 I had the intention of finishing it on a regular schedule.
I see all of the "shelves" you guys put this book on and when I read stuff like " added to 'HASNT BEEN UPDATED IN FOREVER' " trust me guys I take notice and say...
IM SORRY
So if you are still interested in this story please give me a little more patience and I will continue to write and publish as I'm able to.
