d.diggory's POV
-

Remus and James had stayed to help Amos and I clean bu that left Sirius to unpack his things and then charm his room to look as if nothing had transpired. I had an ache between my legs from Sirius and I had done this morning but I'm not giving him the satisfaction of limping.

"So Diana, you and Sirius." Remus started in and I looked up from the floor ad I mopped to see Amos cleaning the bathroom. "Oh Merlin." I said. "Was he good? Was he- just tell me when to stop." James asked and spread his hands apart. "No impossible you wouldn't be able to got that, I'll start over." He said and brought his hands closer together.

"James Potter, are you interested in shagging Sirius?" I asked him and Remus practically doubled over laughing. He was cleaning the fireplace and the carpet surrounding. "Well no but you just shagged one of your closest guy friends. How do you feel about that?" James asked.

"Well, I still don't see him romantically. Sirius is still Padfoot, pads whose I love with Marlene McKinnon and found out she's dating his younger brother. I sat on Sirius' lap while he cried over her and I had rubbed against him and he got hard. I thought to myself. What the hell?" I said and Remus smiled and continued what he was doing.

James remained less readable, "So you don't fancy him." He asked me, apprehensive. "James, I do not fancy him. I saw a chance to see if rumors were true and have someone I trust be my most recent shag compared to a jerk who cheated on me a few months ago." I said mopping and he looked at the ground.

"Well, how were the rumors?" Remus asked. "Well t'was not mind blowing, so that part was false. But he was respectful, had abs, and knew how to use his mouth. So overall 7/10 experience." I said and Remus died of laughter. "I can't wait to tell him he's average." Remus said and stopped moving. "I have a brilliant idea." Remus said.

"We'll go on, Mooney. Show us your streak of genius." James said from the kitchen, wearing the apron I wore earlier. "We use magic to clean so we can actually get ready for our plan." Remus said and I felt a true dumbass. "Well. Go on." I said and James nodded. I didn't know what spell to use and so Remus casted it.

I looked out of the window to see the sun setting so I grabbed Remus by the forearm and James by the collar, walking us to Sirius' room where he was playing Queen. "My parents will be here any minute. Do not do something stupid...without me and please be quiet." I said and then closed the door. As I turned around to see Amos. He grabbed my hand and led me to the kitchen to see my mother and father.

Dressed in suits and jewelry. They'd obviously just come back from a party or club. "Hello son, daughter. We must be ready for the Malfoy's tomorrow. Your mother and I will be making some...arrangements for the future." My father said before walking to his bedroom. "Amos, my boy. Handsome always- Diana Cordelia. Clean yourself up, you look like a mudblooded whore." My mother said before following my father and turning in for the night.

My family seemed to hold themselves to a standard or caliber of the sacred 28. Amos and I could give a rats ass but we did what we needed to. As much as my family held the beliefs of blood purity, unlike the Black family tree- everyone was a hufflepuff. Then there was me, my family's disappointment. Their only hope for me was to marry me off to another family to raise our status.

"Where they in Paris or Olso this time?" I asked Amos. "Paris with the Rosier's but based on mother's pendent I'm going to assume Olso for dinner." He replied. "Why do you ask?" He said. "Gold earrings. Those are always for Paris but the pendent and father's silver watch threw me off." I said and we poured cups off coffee. This was going to be a long next 24 hours.

I walked to Sirius's room which was across the hall from me and next to Amos' room I walked into see Remus, James, and Sirius wrestling for something. "What the hell- I'm not even gonna ask at this point." I said and then closed the door.
"Someone took a souvenir and now it's a battle to the death." Remus said getting off of the two boys. "Hey are you alright?" Remus said coming towards me. He put his hand on my shoulders.

I shook my head. "Just tired and self loathing. My mother has a way with words." I said and he grabbed me over his shoulder and threw me on Sirius bed. He laid next to me and we watch the boys wrestling. James appeared victorious gripping some black fabric. "Ha! Oh Merlin Diana um-" he stopped and Sirius said, "He won the fight for your knickers." Sirius panted out of breath.

"You can keep em, just don't tell anyone their mine." I said and as they laughed I drifted to sleep. "You'll never be good enough!" My mother yelled at me on the dance floor at Malfoy manor. And I ran away from the woman to bump into James. "Sorry prongs."

"It's alright love." He said and he looked quite dashing in a suit. "You look so beautiful." He said and I had a confused look on my face. "I'm crying, I- how does that make me pretty?" I asked him.

"Because vulnerability comes hand in hand with intimacy and trust." He said and he grabbed my hand. I looked down at our interlocked hands to look up and see myself in a wedding dress. His hand the moving to the base of my neck with his thumb running up to my jaw. "You may now kiss the bride." And he pulled me in.

When I pulled away from the kids I found myself  in a rocking chair with a baby boy in my arms. I rocked him to sleep. James had come through the door, "I love you. I love him and make sure Harry never forgets that. Thank you for the best adventure, darling." He said with a tear streaming down his face. Then he ran off down the stairs. "Arvada kadavra!" I screamed out and then before me appeared Professor Riddle in the door when James once stood.

"Ah, my star student turned mother." He had grown older with more gray in his hair and more wrinkles in his face but his aura changed. He'd always been a confident git but now he seemed eerily sound in his power. "I like you Diana and I'm willing to offer you an out. Give me the child and I'll make you my right hand man. We will take on the world and you can marry and have kids again. Severus Snape ring a bell? Or would you prefer an old friend?" He said and Peter emerged from behind him.

No no no, he wouldn't betray James. "Sir, I-" and Riddle stepped closer. "You've declined my offer before Mrs Potter and I won't be asking again." I grabbed my wand and tried to apparate but I landed next to James in front of the door and I became paralyzed. My husband lying on the floor with my crying son on my hip.
"Very well, Diana, what a shame. Arvada Kadavra!" Riddle called out and I fell on top of James. I saw his face before I closed my eyes...

"Diana wake up! Wake up!" I heard as someone shook me. I opened my eyes to see James and my surroundings show I was in my own room. "Hey hey hey calm down, I'm here I'm here." He said and cradled me in his arms. "You fell asleep in Pads room last night and then followed suit so I carried you here but then I heard walking outside but as I waited for it to go away I fell asleep. But you- you were sobbing in your sleep." He said and held me in his arms and I hugged back.

I seemed to be getting that nightmare a lot. "Thank you, Prongs. I really can't repay you for waking me up and being so kind to me." This boy truly makes it difficult to hate him, let alone tolerate him. As much as I hated to admit it, I liked him as a friend. Which was more then I could say I did yesterday. "You- did I wake you?" I asked him. "No worries-" he began but I pushed him back on the bed, "No, you sleep. I'll get you coffee, don't worry. I need a better plan since the polyjuice potion is out of the window." I said while I topped him onto the bed. He blushed and smiled before closing his eyes to sleep.

When I walked out of my room I was quickly thrown into the living room by my mother. "Ladies fit her." And then I had French women measuring me and undressing me and dressing me with fabrics to my mothers choosing. "Mother it's okay, I have a dress." I said and she slapped me. "No, we will not be regarded as less then. You will be fitted." She said and I knew better to stay biting my lips. I looked over to see Amos across the room in my position with our father.

"Ah yes, she's always looked best in green." My mother said and I was shocked. This was the first she's ever complemented me, "Like a frog or a insect." She followed up her comment. There was the mother I knew.
