The Sun

Laying on the shore between sea and land
The waves wash over me
I feel it rise up before splashing on my head
The sand is cool enough not to burn me
And the water warm enough to not cause goosebumps
I feel calm and I feel content
Relaxed as the wind combs back my hair
And as the water holds my waist
The sand tickles my shoulder
Rising and Sinking when the water beats on it
The water nor sand pulls away from my touch,
Only moving closer,
Melting into my touch
Pressing against my body
Cradling me in its hold
The slight breeze blowing every couple seconds
And the Sun shining against my cheek
I feel warm
I feel safe
I feel loved by the land, by the sea, and by the Sun
