Natalia:
Jordan is awake; finally I can stop stressing out. As I put the keys on the table, my brother comes up to me; hugging me tightly.
“Ciao, fratello.” I murmur as I kiss his forehead.
“I missed you, Sorella.” He replies, as he lets go.
“I missed you too, what do you want for dinner?” I ask as I take his hand, leading him to the kitchen.
“Ooh, can you make Cordon bleu Snitel?” He giggles.
“Let me see if I have the ingredients.” I reply as I open the fridge. As I shuffle through everything, something pops into my mind; “Where’s padre been?” I ask.
“He went to a dumb business conference the day after you didn’t come home.” Luciano responds. I nod as I grab the ingredients for dinner.
“Ah, alright, well luckily we have all the ingredients for dinner.” I simper. Luciano cheers, and begins chopping up the vegetables. We begin discussing all I missed whilst at the hospital with Jordan. We have a few laughs, and I put the dinner in the oven, ready to be slow-cooked for a few hours.
“Can we go to the park?” He pleads as he slides off of the granite countertop.
“Of course we can.” I smile as I grab his jacket from the coat closet, and place it in his hand. I put on my jacket, and walk out of the door after I lock it. After he plays football in the park, and we take a walk around the park; we go home. I unlock the door, and go straight into the kitchen to look at the dinner; it was perfectly cooked. I serve him the food, and walk to the answering machine, a message was flashing. I click the play button, and Chris’s voice plays through the speaker.
“Hey Natalia, sorry to disturb you; but I’m having a party next Saturday at my place. I’d love it if you came; please call me back.” I begin to type his number into my phone, and call him.

“Hey, Chris, I’d love to go to your party.” I say cheerily into the answering machine.
