JAY's POV

"You're transferring? AGAIN? For how many times are you going to change schools, huh Park Jay?!" Dad nagged for the nth time of the day. I honestly have no idea why he has to yell when I he knows so well that our hearing were sensitive.

"I was fine with Ridgeview but you meddled and made me transfer to Cambridge without my consent! It wasn't my fault that the people there are a bunch of assholes! I didn't learn anything from Cambridge. Students there just go to school to brag about their new shoes, bags, outfit and boast here and there it's so sickening!" I sighed and ran out of my dad's office before he could stop me. I need a breather. Being the alpha's son is a pain in the ass. I shifted and ran.

I know I crossed out of the border of the territory but nothing stopped me. My wolf is also raging. After running for I don't know how long, something caught my attention. A strong scent of mangoes and roses.

[Mate.] Jongseong, my wolf stated. My temper automatically cooled down at the thought of meeting my mate. I've waited for so long.

Sniffing out the scent, leads me to a clearing. There I saw a beautiful white wolf sitting in the middle. I went closer and that made me realize that my mate is a male, but it doesn't matter to me. I'm much more grateful to the Moon Goddess for gifting me a male mate 'cause female mates are too handy. I walked up to him and rubbed my face on his. I felt weird currents when we came in contact and I know he felt it too when he let out a purr. I stared at his eyes with adoration.

I took over and shifted back to my human form. I held his face with my hand and wondering why he isn't shifting back so I asked him.

"C-can you show me your human form?" I stuttered, how embarassing. But he backed away and looked at me with terrified eyes. Did I scare him? The next scenes made me lose my strength. He ran away.

Everything happened so fast that I was left there processing. My mate just left me. In the middle of nowhere. Did he just rejected me?

My eyes started to water. I felt a sharp pain in my stomach and I started sobbing but something blocked my throat. I coughed and I spit blood.

[The rejection. It's starting.] Jongseong whined in pain. Even though he didn't reject me officially, him leaving me here started the rejection process and it's freaking painful that my vision started spinning. The last thing I know, everything became black.

I groaned when I felt my head stinging. I opened my eyes and looked around. I'm in my room. What the heck just happened? I struggle to sit and jump to surprise when I saw Heeseung sitting beside my bed.

"You're finally awake. What happened to you? I found you unconcious in the middle of a clearing, and blood is all over you. Did you get yourself into trouble again" Heeseung asked. I started sobbing when I realized what just happened.

"My mate just left me."

JUNGWON's POV

[You're an asshole.] Johnny glared. Well I can't blame him. I admit I really am an asshole back there, but I was just protecting ourselves.

[You don't even know how he'll react but you already jumped in conclusions and left him in the middle of nowhere.] Jungseo joins the guilt tripping.

"Look, I know I made you two upset but you can't blame me either. What if I'm right? What will happen to us? We didn't fight for survival for how many years just to die from rejection of worse, be a rogue." I argued.

[But what if you're wrong? And he thought the other way around? What if he thinks we rejected him? What if he dies there without getting any help? Will you take the blame?] Johnny answered. I remained silent. He's right. What if he thinks I reject him?
