My girlfriend' It annoyingly rang on my head over and over again. I can hear and feel my wolves whimpering from the information I was told. My mate has a girlfriend. You're an idiot Jungwon, it's your own fault. You don't deserve to cry so keep the shit to yourself because you wanted this. I repeatedly reminded myself to hold back my tears.

''O-oh. Hi Yujin, I'm Jay hyung's...'' mate. Oh how I badly wanted to tell that but couldn't.

''...friend.'' I faked a smile as I felt something stuck on my throat. I cleared it away but I don't think I can hold my tears any longer. I need to get out of here. Like my prayers were heard, my phone rang and I saw Sunoo calling.

''Excuse me for a sec.'' I turned around wiping the edge of my eyes that are about to spill the tears and answered Sunoo's call.

''Sunoo?''

|I'm on my way to fetch you. Don't go anywhere and wait till I get there.|

''B-but--'' I was about to protest be he freaking hung up on me. I turned back to them only to find Ni-ki on the couch, watching tv.

''Uh Ni-ki hyu--''

''It's okay. Just call me Ni-ki.''

''N-ni-ki, where did they go?'' I asked softly.

''They said they'll cook something to eat. Just relax there until the food is done.'' He replied without taking off his sight on the tv. I sat on the other edge of the sofa and pressed my lips to a thin line.

''Are you okay? You seem shaken. Is it because of those guys who was following us earlier?'' Ni-ki hesitantly opened up a topic as I looked at him but not making any eye contact.

''A-ah yeah. But it's nothing, don't worry.'' I partly lied because that wasn't the main thing that is bugging me at the moment. Ni-ki seems convinced so he nodded.

''Hey it's not that I'm being nosy and I know we just met but...who are those? You don't have to answer if--''

''It's okay. All I know is that they're vampires and they've been following me around since I was young. They seemed to lost track of me since I got to Blue Lagoon Pack but now they found me...again. I'm afraid I might have to move again too. What they want from me? Honestly I don't know either. Trust me I really have no idea what they want from me.'' I confessed and practically begged him to trust what I'm saying because it's the truth and I don't want my new friends having doubts on me. Thankfully, Ni-ki believed me.

''Just tell us if you need help. You can't hide forever. If you need to face them to know what's their purpose, let us know and we'll help.'' He offered but I vigorously shook my head.

''I don't want you guys be dragged to this shit. Especially Sunoo.'' I lowered my head and stared at the floor until I felt a hand on my shoulder.

''I know. And trust me I'm the first one who wouldn't want Sunoo dragged into this. But really, you have us now. We aren't the type to let down a friend. Just know that we're willing to help, even if you think that we don't have to.'' He added and smiled. I simply nodded as we heard the doorbell.

''I'll get it.'' Ni-ki got up and opened the main door only to be surprised by a worried Sunoo. Sunoo signaled something to Ni-ki before running at my direction.

''Idiot! Don't do that again! I swear I won't talk to you again if you do! I hate you!'' Sunoo knocks me on my chest with his fist. Fatigue is evident in his eyes which were also watery, tempting to spill tears because of worrying. I was tearing up too because of my bestfriend's state. I'm such a burden to him, I hate myself too. I was just accepting his hits because I deserve it. We were in that state when Jay and that Yujin walked to the living area.
