JAY's POV
I was running in my wolf form but I didn't care where my paws lead me to. When all of a sudden, the place was getting more familiar the more I stroll through. The moon is up and already deep at night. I oddly scanned the place only to realize that my feet just betrayed me, as I am now here again, at the clearing where I met my mate.
The familiar intoxicating smell of mangoes and roses drifts to my nose. My chest starts pounding because of my suspicion as I shifted back and put some clothes. When I'm fully dressed, I looked around and saw a white wolf. He's here. My mate is here. He came back for me. Tears escaped my eyes as I walk closer to him. He just stood in his place.
I leaned down and cautiously put my hand on his snout as he leans to my touch. He stared at me straight into the eyes. That's when I got his message that he's not gonna run away again. I engulfed him in a tight hug, never wanting to let go. Heavy heartedly, I broke the hug and so I could look at him closely. But after a few moments, a black smoke suddenly came at him as he slowly vanish to thin air. I started to panic when he looked at me with eyes screaming for help.
''No! Don't take him away from me!'' I shouted as tears streamed down to my face.
''No! Please! Take me instead! Please let go of him!'' I pleaded and clasped my hand.
''Jay hyung!'' He completely vanished. My knees lost its strength making me kneel down. I covered my face and bursted in tears.
''Jay hyung!!!''
I gasped and opened my eyes. Wait, it's just a dream? I looked around and saw Ni-ki sitting beside me.
''Hyung, you okay? You fell asleep while I was finalizing the choreography then you started shouting. Bad dream?'' Ni-ki asked. I nodded and sat up. It seems so real. I cupped my face and felt that real tears just flowed in there.
''Next time, don't eat too much at nights so you won't get nightmares again. Anyway, I finished the choreo, we can have a practice tomorrow before we teach the troupe.'' He added.
Morning came and we're currently here at the club room, checking the final steps that completes our choreography for our intermission number. Apparently, even though the chorale and dance troupe are both under one club, we were still in separated rooms because both teams won't be able to concentrate because of the noise. So the chorale's room is located on the third floor, while ours was here at the fifth. But I suddenly remembered my dream last night. It felt so real, that I couldn't believe it was just a freaking dream, though I was thankful. Why did I dream of that? Was my mate perharps...in trouble? My goddess please no. But why do I care anyway? He effin left me. I shouldn't be wasting time thinking of him. I'm mad, okay? He don't deserve me. But...I still want him. I felt tears starting to form again.
''1, 2. 3 and 4. Then hyung, we need to form a pyramid formation then----EARTH TO JAY HYUNG!'' Ni-ki yelled making me snap out of my thoughts. I confusingly looked at him.
''Hmm?'' I hummed, asking why did he called me. Ni-ki sighed before talking.
''Let's take a quick break and you better tell me what's going on in that mind of yours for the past days or I'll gladly kick you out of the troupe.'' He snapped and crossed his arms. Should I tell him? I never really told anybody about my mate except for my cousin, Heeseung hyung. But I consider Ni-ki as a family now so, why not? I sighed in defeat and nodded. We sat on the hardwood floor and faced each other.
''Promise me you won't freak out and you won't tell anybody?'' I sternly eyed him, showing that I'm serious. He confusingly nodded as I take a deep breath before I started talking.
