JUNGWON's POV

I arrived here at school with 10 minutes to spare before the classes starts, but it won't hurt if I go now to our classroom so I could browse and review a little. I made my way to my next class when someone suddenly grabbed me by the wrist and pulled me to an empty room. I finally got released and look up, only to meet eyes with Yujin. All of a sudden, he slapped me on the face.

''How dare you. I already warned you to stay away from Jay. Then the next thing I knew, you kissed?!'' She snarled at me and flashed her eyes yellow.

''Correction; HE kissed me.'' I corrected her.

''Who do you think you are?! Bitch!'' Yujin was about to slap me again but I grabbed her arm before it hit me.

''You really want to know? Let me tell you who am I then. I'M. HIS. MATE!'' I flashed my eyes blue making her jaw drop. I hastily let go of her hand.

''Impossible. He won't find his mate because I gave him a potion.'' She mumbled but I managed to hear it.

''I knew it. You blocked our mate bond. That's why he can't recognize me. How could you?'' I slowly stepped forward as she steps back, maintaining our distance. Then she ran out of the room.

I need to find a way to undo the effect of that freaking potion.

''Me and Ms. Ji already made a decision.'' Heeseung hyung said as he stood in the front of the club room. The evaluation already finished and now they're going to announce who'll get the solo number.

''Kim Sunoo.'' Ms. Ji announced and every one applaud. I looked at Sunoo beside me. His eyes widen from the sudden news. Sunoo went to the front and repeatedly bowed to Ms. Ji and Heeseung hyung. 

We got dismissed and headed home. Sunoo stopped by my house like the usual.

''I told you you'll get it.'' I smiled at Sunoo and handed a can of soda.

''Thanks for believing, Mr. Yang.'' He mocked as he took a sip. I scowled at him in response.

''Eww! quit calling me Mr. Yang it sounds like you're calling my father.'' I giggled but then we suddenly heard an explosion. 

Then we heard screams outside the house making us panic and ducked under the table.

At that moment, the door blasted open revealing a man wearing a familiar all black outfit and mask. That made me confirm that we are being attacked by vampires. We met gaze and he quickly approached us. I held Sunoo tighter because I already feel him shaking in fear. When the guy in black was about to touch me, another man wearing the same outfit suddenly teleported in front of me.

I thought he has the same agenda of abducting me but what shocked me is when he turned around and fought the first guy who came here. The mysterious guy fought and killed every vampire that came in to this house. I'm so confused. What's happening? Why is he helping us? Then we heard a familiar voice.

''Sunoo! Jungwon!'' Heeseung hyung came in and met eyes with the guy who helped us. Heeseung hyung was about to attack him but the guy suddenly vanished in thin air. I saw how Heeseung hyung became shocked but he shrugged it off and went to us.

''Let's get you two to the safe room.'' Heeseung hyung said as we nodded. We assisted Sunoo because he lost strength. We reached the pack house and went to the basement, where the safe room was located. Heeseung hyung guards by the door in case the enemies reached here. After an hour or two, the commotion finally stopped meaning we can already come out now. Sunoo fell asleep on my arms because of all that crying.

''Sunoo. Sunoo we're safe now.'' I tapped him softly as he slowly regains consciousness. He wrapped his arms around me and cried again.

''Shhh. Sorry, Sun. It's all my fault.'' I patted his back as he shook his head.

''No! It's not your fault, Won. Don't say that.'' He answered making me sigh.

''Let's go back now. Heeseung hyung is waiting for us.'' I said as I assisted him to stand and walk upstairs. When we reached the common room of the pack house, I made him sat on the sofa and gave him a cup of water. Moments later, Heeseung hyung came to us.

''Are you two okay?'' He asked, as we simply nod.

''Thank you for helping, hyung. What are you doing here by the way?'' I titled my head as we sat on each side of Sunoo.

''Green Woods Pack is a neighboring pack and an ally of Blue Lagoon Pack. Sunoo's dad called my dad for help because he said you were being attacked by vampires so we came.'' Heeseung hyung stated, as the door opened revealing Sunghoon hyung.

''Everyone's fine. Few pack members were wounded but fortunately no one died. That's odd. Not that it's a bad thing. I wonder what's their purpose.'' Sunghoon hyung informed making me bit my lip.

''Me. They're here to get me.'' I stated, gaining their attention. The couple weirdly looked at me.

''You? Why? Have you done anything to them?'' Sunghoon hyung asked earning a smack from Heeseung hyung,

''It's okay, Heeseung hyung. But to answer your question, I haven't done anything. In fact, they were the one who did something to my family. They killed my dad.'' I weakly stated as my tears streamed on my face.

''Sorry for your loss.'' Heeseung hyung patted my back. Sunoo leaned on my shoulder and rubbed my hand with his.

''Whatever their reason is, we won't give you to them.'' Someone spoke making look up and realized it was Sunoo's dad. We immediately stood up and bowed.

''You're our family now, Jungwon. I won't let those blood sucking monsters get you. Not in my watch.'' Alpha Wooseok said and patted my shoulder.

''Thank you for your kindness, Alpha Wooseok.'' I bowed again to show gratitude.

''Hey, how many times do I have to tell you to call me uncle?''

''Sorry Alp--I mean uncle.'' I smiled at him. Then I smelled my mother near us. I was right when the she entered the room.

''Jungwon! Thank goddess they didn't took you.'' She immediately ran to me and engulf me in a warm embrace. She continuously pecked my forehead. I saw her eyes were watery too.

''Thank you, Alpha Wooseok. I don't know what to do if they get my son from me too.''

''Don't worry Juhyun. We won't let that happen.'' The alpha answered.

We called it a day and parted ways as we go home to our own houses. I laid on my bed and stared the ceiling. My thoughts drifted to the mysterious guy who helped us earlier. From his scent, I was certain that he's also a vampire. But why did he fought the other vampires and stopped them from getting me?

THIRD PERSON's POV

''IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT! YOU TRAITOR!'' A man yelled and his voice echoed in the whole room.

''I'm sorry, Master.'' A boy kneeled in front of the man whom he addressed as master.

''Why? Why did you do that?'' His master grabbed his face harshly, forcing him to look into his eyes.

''Because we're scaring him! That's why he always ran away! All these years, our way of getting him is all wrong! Please give me another chance, Master.'' The boy clasped his hands and pleaded. The Master let's go of his face and stood up straight.

''This will reach to the Elder. I won't tolerate this act of yours. You won't be given blood until you bring him here. Better use your last chance wisely.''
