Chapter 14

RILEY'S POV:
It's not fair. I want mummy and when I do get mummy Aunty Scarlett takes me away. I'm not happy right now! "Come on trouble" Aunty Scarlett says. "I'm not trouble!" I snap crossing my arms. "Is someone tired?" she asks me. "NO!" I shout. Aunty Scarlett puts me on the sofa and I slide of it whining. "Why is Ry sad mummy?" Rose asks. "She isn't sad...." Aunty Scarlett starts but I interrupt her. "I is sad because Aunty Scarlett be no let me see my mummy!" I say. I stand up and look for Mr Cuddles. I cant find him so I just cry as loud as I can. Aunty Scarlett rushes over to me and lifts me up. I kick my legs but she places me on her hip, grabs my baby blanket and Mr Cuddles before she takes me to her room. "I think it's time for a nap" she tells me placing me down on her bed. It's very comfy so I yawn. I don't mean to but I do. "Aw yes somebody is very tired!" she says lying me down. I yawn again and grab my blanket. Aunty Scarlett pulls the covers over me and I cuddle down and fall asleep.

SCARLETT'S POV:

After Ry's little outburst I manage to get her down for a nap. She goes down pretty easily so I leave her to sleep. I go over and see Rose sat on the sofa playing with her fingers. "You okay Rose?" I ask sitting next to her. "Yep I just want to play with Ry" she says sighing a little. "Ry's sleeping honey. How about we watch a movie until she wakes up?" I ask her. She nods and sits on my lap. "What do you want to watch?" I ask. "Hmm... Sing please!!" she says. I laugh and put it on for her. She quietly sings along whilst I message Chris E who says he'll come over and watch the girls as I need to go shopping and don't really want to take two kids with me. We're about half way through the movie when I hear whining. I sit Rose on the sofa and go to my room and see Ry sat up on the bed. Her top is half off her body, her hair is all over the shop and she has Mr Cuddles under her arm. "Did you have a good nap?" I ask her as I go and sit on the bed. She whines again and crawls onto my lap. "Here let me sort this crazy top of yours out" I say helping her get her arm back in the sleeve. "Mummy wake?" she mumbles. "No honey. Mummy isn't well so she's asleep" I tell he. Liz is probably awake but she looks rough so I'm just gonna let her have today to herself. "You want to watch the end of a movie with Rose?" I ask her. She thinks for a second before nodding. I place her on the floor so I can sort the bed out but Ry starts whining and stomping her feet. I lift her up again and leave the bed as it is. We go back to the living room and I sit Ry next to Rose. "Ry!!" she says pulling Riley into a hug. "No top" Ry says pushing Rose off her. "She's still sleepy" I tell Rose who nods a little sadly. "Can we play now?" she asks Riley. "No" she says cuddling into me. "How about you watch till the end of the movie Rose and then ask" I tell her. Rose nods and presses play on the movie. After about five minutes of hiding in me Ry turns around to look at the TV. She seems pretty happy now she's woken up properly. The movie ends just as someone knocks at the door. "Shall we see who that is?" I ask Rose and Ry. They both nod so I lift up Ry and we all go to the door. Rose opens it and we see Chris E standing with a little bag. "Chris!" Rose squeals before throwing herself at him. I laugh as Ry motions for Chris to take her. He does and we all go into the living room. "What's in the bag?" I ask as Chris sets Ry and the bag on the floor. "I decided to stop off and get a gift for the girls on my way" he says. "A gift!?" Rose asks excitedly. "Yep. Here's yours" he says passing Rose a barbie to add to her vast collection. "Thanks Chris!" Rose says hugging him. "Ry your turn" he says passing Ry a baby doll. "Dis bubba like me?" she asks. "Yeah it's a baby and you're now a mummy. You'll have to take care of her." Chris tells her. "I call her... Pop-Pop" she says before throwing the doll onto the floor and picking Mr Cuddles up.
