Chapter 20

~Sorry for the massive time skip I had an idea so we're just going with it. It's now gonna be Dec 24th~

LIZZIE'S POV:

I know that today is going to be tricky as Ry is so excited about Christmas she wont take any naps or go to sleep tonight. All though I do have the 'if you don't do this Santa wont come' so that'll be useful. Scar's and Chris E are also coming over so I can attempt to wrap some gifts.

It's now half past eleven and Ry is jumping on the sofa with Mr Cuddles. "Okay let's get you dressed before Aunty Scarlett and Uncle Chris come over" I tell her but she just keeps bouncing. She's in her own little world and it's quite cute to be honest. I sneak closer and hear her singing in a cute little baby voice. I listen to the words and realise she's singing 'Let it go' from Frozen. I know Rose and Scar love that movie so I decide to record Ry. She keeps bouncing and singing and then when she turns around and sees me she falls onto the sofa giggling. I end the recording and laugh with her. That giggle is the best sound ever! "What are you up to missy!" I say tickling her belly. "Nothing!" she giggles. I lift her up and we go into my room. "Lie on the mat so mamma can change you" I tell her grabbing a onesie as we aren't leaving the house today. "Mamma when Santa come?" Ry asks following me to her wardrobe. "Not until you get on the mat missy" I tell her walking with her back over. She's asked me about Santa at least ten times already today. "Is he brining me dolly?" she asks. She's been asking for a doll for ages. She said she wants one of the 'big ones' because they're more cuddly then the others. She's too cute. I manage to get her changed pretty easily and then lead her through to the living room just as someone knocks on the door. I open it and see Scar, Rose and Chris. "Merry Christmas Aunt Lizzie!" Rose says hugging me. "Aw thanks honey" I say as they all come inside. "Are you still coming to mine for Christmas dinner?" Scar asks me looking around the house. "Yeah of course. Why wouldn't we?" I ask. "Because your house is a winter wonderland!" she tells me. I look around and see our little home with decorations a toddler has clearly decorated. I laugh a little "Ry was so desperate to help I decided to just let her and not fix anything. The tree looks somewhat normal though" I tell her showing her the colour coded tree with a small drawing of me and Ry that she drew at the bottom. "I think you're house is decorated lovely!" Rose says walking over to where Ry is sitting. "ROSE!! Santa come tonight!" Ry squeals. "I know!!" Rose squeals back. Both the girls get each other hyped up whilst we have a coffee. "So what is the operation today?" Chris asks. "Make sure Ry doesn't come near my room as I'm wrapping the final few gifts" I tell them. "Okay we can do that. Rose wants to go to the park so we could take them. If Ry doesn't have PTSD that is" Scar says laughing. "Yeah that was a real scary trip last time" I add. Me and Scar laugh and Chris looks a little confused. "A girl shoved Ry down the slide last time and she plummeted to her death" I tell him making him laugh. "It no funny!" Ry says. I look down and see her with her little arms crossed. "Is isn't?" I ask. "No my butt hurt ages after" she says. She frowns at me for a second before tapping Scar's leg. "Can we play with dolls pwease?" she asks. "Of course we can!" Scarlett says lifting Ry up. Chris lifts Rose up and they both go into the living room. I go into my room and shut the door before getting all the gifts out for everyone.

RILEY'S POV:
Aunty Scarlett, Rose and Uncle Chris have come over to play!! I don't know where mummy has gone but I'm starting to miss her. I whine a little and crawl onto Aunty Scarlett's lap dropping my dolly on the floor. "What's the matter hey?" she asks me. "Are you hungry? It is quarter past twelve" she adds. "Mummy" I say. "Mummy's busy honey" she tells me. "No me want her now" I tell her. "Why?" she asks me. "Wee!" I say standing up. "You need a wee?" she asks me and I nod. Mummy taught me how to use a little big girl toilet a little while ago but I prefer my diapers so I didn't try very hard but I want Santa to come so I'm going to try and use it. Aunty Scarlett lifts me up and takes me into the bathroom and sits me on the big tiny toilet. I do my stuff and she helps me wash my hands. "Shall we go and tell mamma?" she asks me and I nod excitedly. She takes me hand and knocks on the door. Mamma calls something and then opens the door. "What's up?" she asks me. "Mummy me wee on da tiny big toilet!!" I tell her. She lifts me up and kisses me. "You did?" she says and I nod. "All by myself" I say. "Aw that's so good!" she tells me and I smile and nod. "Santa be come now?" I ask and mummy laughs and nods. "YAY!!" I call and wiggle down from her arms. Mummy talks to Aunty Scarlett so I go back to play. Uncle Chris sees me coming and claps. I giggle and run over. "I heard you used the little big toilet!" he says matching my excitement. "Mhm and now Santa come!!" I squeal. I look over and see Rose jumping around. "Santa come!" we both chant. Aunty Scarlett comes back in and laughs. "Okay because you did such a good job on the potty Ry how about we get McDonalds for lunch?" she asks and me and Rose says yes before running around the living room together. I get chicken nuggets like Rose and a fruit shoot. Uncle Chris goes to get it whilst Aunty Scarlett gets me and Rose onto the sofa and puts on Sing. "That's mummy" Rose tells me pointing to a spiky animal on the TV. "Dat mamma?" I ask. "No my mummy" Rose says pointing to Aunty Scarlett. I look up as I'm on her lap "Dat you?" I ask and she nods. "Yeah I'm Ash" she says. "Do you know what animal that is?" Aunty Scarlett asks me but I shake my head. "It silly!" I say and she laughs a little. "She's a porcupine" I look confused. "Dat no real!" I giggle but she nods. "It is and she can sing really well!" Rose says. We keep watching and it's really good. We watch whilst we eat and mamma joins us. We keep watching and them mamma goes again. I grab her hand. "No mamma tay!" I say pulling her back. "I'm sorry honey but you need a nap and mamma's busy" she says. "Nooo!" I whine and roll onto the floor. Mummy lifts me up "Come on don't be sad" she says. I cross my arms "I too cited to sweep!" I say to her. "I know but you'll be grumpy if you don't nap" she tells me. It's true. I know I will be so I let mamma put me in my room. "You bed" I say. I always sleep in her bed. I don't know why she's not letting me. "Mamma has something in there you cant see" she tells me pulling the covers over me. "Cwismas?" I ask and she nods. "Yeah it's for Christmas" she says kissing my head and turning my elephant night light on.
