Chapter 33

LIZZIE'S POV:
It's now half past eight and I can hear Ry walking to my room. I know it's not too early but then again she didn't go to bed very well last night so she might be grumpy. I see my door open and pretend to sleep to see if Ry comes in bed and sleeps too. "Mamma!" Ry shouts jumping onto the bed. I stay quiet hoping that she'll go back to sleep with me. "Mamma!!" she yells jumping on me. "Ow Ry be careful!" I say pushing her off me. "That hurt Ry" I say to her. "I want bweakfast" she says to me. "Come on but stay quiet your aunt is still sleeping" I say lifting her up and walking with her to the kitchen. I sit her in the highchair so she isn't running around. "Cereal or toast?" I ask her. "Cereal" she says playing with her teddy. "Okay then baby. Which one?" I ask. "Coco-pops" she says. "Okay" I say grabbing her favourite cereal. I pour two bowls and pour milk over them both. I grab a sippy-cup and fill it with apple juice before bringing it over to Ry's highchair. She frowns at the bowl before turning her head. "No dat" she says. "You don't want that?" I ask. "No!" she shouts. "Then why did you ask for it?" I ask her. She frowns at me before throwing the spoon to the floor. "Are you being grumpy because you stayed up late?" I ask bending down and grabbing the spoon. "No" she mumbles. "Hmm well I don't believe you" I say washing the spoon and giving it back to her. "What cereal do you want then?" I ask. "No dat" she says shoving the bowl. I catch it before it spills and place it on the table. "Excuse me madam! I asked you what you wanted not what the floor wanted!" I say to her sternly. "Well me no care" she says crossing her little arms. "Riley Olsen. Don't be rude to me" I say to her as Ashley comes out to me. "Oh dear is somebody in trouble?" she asks. I nod my head and lift Ry out her highchair. "You go watch a cartoon with Ashley whilst I get you some new breakfast." I say to Ry who waddles off with Ashley.

RILEY'S POV:
I feel grumpy today. I don't know why but I am. Mamma is making me feel even more grumpy and she keeps getting grumpy with me. I changed my mind on my food and she got grumpy so if she's grumpy with me then I'll be grumpy with her! "Come here" Ashley says lifting me onto her lap. We watch Paw Patrol and I like it until Everest (I googled the names so if its wrong sorry lol) turns the wrong way! The naughty dog went the other way. "Not dat way!" I say but she doesn't listen. She keeps going the wrong way. "No!" I shout at the TV. "Hey it's okay it's just TV" Ashley says to me. I whine loudly and throw myself on the sofa. I don't know why I'm getting so upset about this but I am. Mamma comes in and picks me up balancing me on her hip. "We are going back to bed" she says taking me to her room. This makes me scream and cry more because I don't want to sleep I want to watch. "NO!!" I yell as she puts me in her bed. "You can cry all you want but you are going back to sleep Riley" mamma tells me laying me in bed. "Do you need your diaper changed?" mamma asks. "No!" I shout at her. "Okay then come here baby" she says. I hate that she's being so calm. It's making me even more angry! I sit up not wanting to lie down. "Baby you have to lie down to sleep" mamma says laying me down. I kick at her but she keeps me cuddled into her. As soon as she puts my paci in my mouth I cant help but snuggle into her. I calm down and let out a little yawn. "That's it baby" she says to me lifting my top up and rubbing my back. That's what always gets me to sleep but I let her this time. She rubs my back and I feel my eyes start to close. I know I've been naughty so will be in trouble when I wake up but mamma's cuddles feel nice right now so I'm feeling a little happier.
