Chapter 27

LIZZIE'S POV:
"Okay come on Ry its bed time" I call and Ry runs over to me. I lift her up and carry her over to the den fort thing we have created. "Okay so if you need me in the night you can either come to us yourself or you can wake Rose up okay?" I tell her as she rolls around on the floor. "Otay mamma" she says. "I can look after her Aunty Lizzie!" Rose says hugging me. "I know you will honey" I say kissing the top of Roses head. "Okay bed time" Scar says walking in. Both the girls lie on the sofa with a blanket each and lots of Roses teddies. Rox has her new elephant tucked under her arm. "Night night my baby" I say kissing Ry's head and tucking her in. "Say night nights to Effy mamma" Ry says pulling my top so I cant move away. "Night Effy" I say kissing the elephants head. Ry giggles and I tuck her in before turning on the little night light for her and leaving the fort. I go into Scars room and wait on the bed.

After about five minutes Scar comes in and sits next to me on the bed. "They're okay Liz" she tells me. "I know it's just Ry has never slept by herself before so I don't want her to wake up and I'm not there." I tell her. "She knows the way to our room. I took some teddies and lined them up so if she needs us she can follow the trail of teddies" Scar says making me laugh a little. "They'll be okay honey" Scar tells me giving me a hug. "I hope so" I say yawning. "Right time for a movie and then we can go to bed" she tells me pulling me next to her. She puts on 'Love Actually' and wraps her arms around me.

We finish the movie and look at the time. "Okay it's half past ten. Time for us to go to bed" Scar says moving the covers back and getting me up. "You can change in the bathroom if you want" she tells me and I nod. I go into her bathroom, go to the toilet and get changed into some shorts and a vest. Scar knocks on the door and we brush our teeth together before getting into bed. She wraps her arms around me and I rest my head on her chest. "What are you doing tomorrow?" she whispers to me. "I'm not sure actually" I answer. "Well me and Rose are going to a zoo so you can come with if you want" she asks me. "Yeah I'm sure Ry would love that!" I say. "I'll have to go and fetch some things from the house before hand though. Like a buggy and diaper bag" I say and Scar nods. "Well we can fetch you from your house if you'd like. We can go at like half twelve and stop somewhere for lunch before we go" Scar tells me. "Yeah that sounds really nice!" I say before yawning. "But you need sleep. I love you" Scar says kissing my forehead and pulling the covers over us. "Night and don't spend too much time worrying about Ry!" Scar says to me. "Love you too" I mumble closing my eyes.

RILEY'S POV:

Me and Rose giggle for a bit before we both fall asleep. I sleep well until I roll over and cant find Mr Cuddles. I try and search for him but cant. I move to tell mamma and remember she isn't here. This gets me sad. I climb off the sofa and follow the line of teddies and open the door crying. Mamma shoots up and rushes over to me lifting me up. "Hey shhh whats wrong?" she asks me. "No find Mr Cuddles" I say whilst crying. "Okay we can find him." Mamma says "But you have to stop crying to we don't wake Rose up okay?" mamma says. I take a few deep breaths with her and stop crying. She then takes me to our fort and we look for Mr Cuddles. We find him under the sofa. I grab him from mamma and cuddle him tightly. "Fanks mummy" I say kissing Mr Cuddles head. "Do you want to sleep here or in mammas bed?" she asks me. I think for a minute before pointing back to Rose. "Okay come here then" she says sitting me on the sofa. She grabs my blanket and tucks me in giving me a big kiss. "Sleep well okay honey?" she says kissing me again and then walking back to the bedroom. I cuddle up with Effy and Mr Cuddles and go to sleep again.
