Untitled Part 31

RILEY'S POV:
Ashley takes me to my bedroom and sits me on my bed whilst she looks in my drawers for some pjs. She holds up some panda ones but I don't like them. "No" I say shaking my head. She pulls lots of pjs out but I don't want any of them. "Okay why don't you look then?" she asks lifting me up and taking me to my drawer. I pull all of them out but I don't like those ones. "No" I say crossing my arms. "You have to wear something!" she says tickling me. "Say who?" I ask giving her a cheeky smile. "Says mamma unless you want me to get into trouble?" she says to me. "I no want trouble but I no want dem" I say pointing to all the clothes on the floor. Just then mamma walks in. "Goodness me! What on earth has happened?" she says taking me from Ashley. "I no want dem ones" I say pointing to all the clothes on the floor. "Well what do you want?" mamma asks lying me on my mat. "Nothing" I giggle. Mamma and Ashely laugh a little before mamma sticks a diaper on me. "How about we try and match?" she asks lifting me up again. "Okay mamma is in red check pjs. Do you have any red check pjs?" she asks standing me in all the clothes. "I no know" I say. "Well then lets have a look" she says as we all search for some. After a few minutes mammas says "Ah ha. I found them!" she grabs some red check pjs just like hers and takes me over to the changing mat. I let her put the clothes on me before she puts me to bed. Her and Ashley read me a quick story taking it in terns to read. I eventually go to sleep with my lelephant cuddled up with me.

LIZZIE'S POV:
After we put Ry to bed me and Ashley go through to the living room. We start chatting and end up talking about Ry. We talk about her being almost three and how fast she has grown and then talk about her birth. That was both the best and the worst day of my life. Best being I got my baby girl, worst being the labour, contractions and then actually having to give birth to her. At least I had Scar with me though. I wouldn't have done it without her. She was such an amazing help!

(Two year flash back)

"Okay Scar!!" I shout through the apartment we're staying in. "What's up? Are you okay?" Scar asks as she rushes into the room. "Either I've just pissed myself or my waters have broken" I say standing up and seeing how wet the seat it. "Yeah I think little baby boy is on his way!" Scar tells me and I nod. She helps me quickly change and grabs my hospital bag. She left Rose at her dads so she's out of the way as we don't know how long this is going to take. I'm hoping not too long!

After half an hour we finally arrive at the hospital. Scar broke a few speed limits but this is worth it. I cant wait to have my little boy in my arms. "Just this way Ms Olsen" the midwife says. "Please call me Lizzie" I say as she helps me onto the bed. "Okay then!" the midwife says smiling. "You can call me Riley" she says. "Okay" I say as a contraction hits. "Shit on it" I mumble reaching for Scar's hand. "I'm just going to check on baby, see how dilated we are okay?" Nurse Riley says and I nod allowing her to do what she needs. "Already at six centimetres!" she says taking the gloves off. "What does that mean?" I ask sitting up. "It means you're only four centimetres away from having your baby in your arms." She says smiling at me. "Do you know what you're having?" she asks me. "A boy. I want to call him Charlie I think. It depends on how he looks." I tell her and she nods.

After another six hours I'm finally at ten centimetres. "Okay honey. You push when you need to okay?" Nurse Riley says to me. I feel a very strong contraction hit me and push as hard as I can. The harder I push the faster I'll have my baby in my arms. "That was perfect. Give me a few more and baby boy will be born!" Nurse Riley says. Scar grabs my hand I rubs my back as I push again. I wait a few seconds before we hear a loud cry. "I think Charlotte will be a better name" the midwife says cutting the cord. "What? It's a girl!?" I ask sitting up more to see my baby. She's wrapped in a little yellow towel with her tiny hand poking out the top. She's still crying but as the midwife hands her over to me she stops crying almost straight away. "Well aren't you prefect" Scar whispers to my baby girl. "She is" the midwife says tidying everything up. "You'll have to think of a new name now wont you!" Nurse Riley teases as she packs the things away. "I already have one" I say rocking my baby gently. "Yeah? What is it?" Scar asks. "Riley" I say. Nurse Riley looks up at me beaming. "Really?" she asks and I nod. "Thank you" she says giving me a quick hug. "I'll leave you two with mini Riley and I'll be back in about an hour to do some tests" she says smiling again and leaving the room.

"Earth to Lizzie!?" I hear and see Ashely clicking her fingers in my face. "God I thought I'd lost you to the unicorns then!" she says. "Are we watching this or not?" she says gesturing to the TV. "Yeah" I say cuddling up to Ashley as she puts on a random TV show.
