DarianI had so many missed calls and texts from Daniel. I can't lie. This breakup has been hard. I missed him so much, but the way he acted like the picture was just nothing and tried to laugh it off was unacceptable. I always saw him in the hallways, at his locker, in class. He always had this same sad look on his face. I tried my hardest to never look at him but whenever I did, he was staring right back at me. It wasn't until one day he was bold enough to break the ice and speak to me. And boy was it a roller coaster ride.
Daniel
She leaned down and kissed my neck as I grunted.
"You like that baby?" She asked. I nodded, despite the fact that I hadn't been enjoying this interaction as much as I wanted to. My mind kept drifting back to what happened between me and Darian. It had been almost 2 months but the entire situation was fresh on my mind. She stopped and sighed."You're tense."
"I know I am," I sighed and pushed her off of me.
"Daniel why are you still thinking about her. Let it go."
"It's not that easy Deja. I loved-- I love her," she shook her head and rolled her eyes.
"Oh please Daniel," she leaned forward to whisper in my ear.
"But who's been there to please you? She can't do that can she?" I shifted my laying position. "I mean, maybe that one time but...these past few months, it's been me here with you, right?" I sighed before freezing. How'd she know about Darian and I's first time. I hadn't told anybody and I know Darian didn't tell anyone. "How do you know about that?" I gave her a skeptical glare. "W-what do you mean?" I stood and moved the covers from me. "Deja. How the fuck do you know about me and Darian having sex?" She ran her fingers through her hair and looked down. "It was you. You took that photo of Darian on top of me and you sent it to her, didn't you?" "Daniel just let me explain plea-" she grabbed my arm but I snatched it away. "Deja what the fuck? Why would you ruin a perfectly good relationship like that. This is a new low for you." "Your relationship was NOWHERE near perfect. Daniel you've been cheating on her for her almost a year. With me. Stop trying to be the victim." "Why the hell where you at my window? How the hell did you even get up there. My room is on the second floor! Why the hell were you even following us? Why were you even NEAR my house?" "Daniel just calm down," "No I'm not going to just 'calm down.' Deja what you did is harassment. I could put a restraining order out on you." "No Daniel, you can't do that." "And why can't I?" "Because Daniel I was here first!" My eyebrows furrowed. "What are you talking about?" "Before she got here it was just you and me. We were so happy. Where'd that go Daniel? You sit up and say how much you love that girl, but you never said those words to me. All you ever wanted was sex from me. That's not fair Daniel. Daniel I love you." "That doesn't cover the fact that what you did was wrong and out of hand." "There you go again! I just told you I love you and you brush me off Daniel I'm sorry! Please just forgive me. Why can't we go back to what we were before?" She asked, tears welling up in her eyes. "Tears are getting you nowhere. And I don't want to go back to what we are, because looking back on it, we were nothing." I felt bad saying those words but they were honestly somewhat true. "Daniel you don't mean that!" She had waterfalls flowing from her eyes. "I do," I grabbed my clothes and put them back on. "I'm leaving, to go get my girlfriend back, and from now on don't look at me, don't call me,
Don't text me, don't talk to me in or out of school, don't even come within 20 feet of me, I don't wanna breathe the same air as you, I don't even want to see you. You're a sneaky and conniving snake." I grabbed my phone and keys before walking out of her room. "You're gonna regret this Daniel!" I heard her shout after me but I didn't care. I walked out of her front door and drove straight to Darian's house. I figured going to her front door was a bad idea, assuming she told her mom about our breakup. I decided to go around to her balcony window, like when I used to surprise her. I jumped the gate with ease and walked back to where her room was. I looked up at the window, a knot forming slowly in my stomach. Luckily she still had her rope ladder hanging from the balcony. I began to climb up until I was right in front of her window. I slowly braced myself and knocked slowly. I waited and got no answer. I knocked quietly a second time, this time the door being pulled open slowly. "Hey." I breathed out. "What are you doing here?" She asked. "I just want to talk." She closed her door behind her and standing against it. She looked as flawless as ever. "You look beautiful," "Daniel I have on a sports bra and leggings, what are you here to talk about it?" "I want to talk about us." I grabbed her hands, but she slowly slipped hers from mine. "I don't think there's much for us to talk about." She shook her head. "I found out who took the photo." "Who was it?" "It was this girl Deja." "Deja? I've met her before." My eyebrows furrowed. "You have? When was this? What did she say to you?" "Whoa Daniel. Chill out. It was a few weeks ago, she said something about you being low class and how on earth are we together. And then that was the same day I almost got hit by that truck." "Oh my god," I put my head in my hands. "What's wrong?" "Whatever you do, you need to stay as far from her as possible Darian, okay?" I looked in her eyes. "Why?" "It's just for your safety, I can't believe she's already doing this." "Daniel what are it talking about? You're scaring me," she reached out to touch my face. "You know something I don't, don't you?" She asked. "No, I just think I know what's best for you. Just please promise me that you'll stay away from her, okay?" "I promise, but only if you promise that no more photos will pop up." "I promise." "Is this all you wanted to tell me?" She asked. "No, I wanted to apologize for the way I acted when we broke up. It was wrong and I was being stupid. I regret so much Darian. You know the last thing I want to do is break your heart or hurt you," I grabbed her hands and pulled her close. "Please just give me another chance to make you happy and to be the happiest guy on earth," she looked down. "I don't know, Daniel." My heart my slowly began to tear. "What do you mean? We can work this out baby. You said we needed spade and that's all we've had for the past month and a half. I can't stand it anymore. I miss you like crazy. You're the first thing on my mind when I wake up and the last before I go to sleep." I wrapped my arm around her waist, bringing her close to me. "But maybe the space was best for us Daniel." "No, Darian, it wasn't. It killed me on the inside. Please, don't do this." "It's already been done Daniel." "Just think about it. I understand if you don't wanna give me a straight right now after I've forced this on you." She nodded. "I'll think about it Daniel." "I love you." Before she could respond I pulled her lips to mine, kissing her slowly. She didn't kiss back immediately but eventually got the swing of things. She brought her hand up to my face as I gently pushed her against her balcony door. Our lips tangled together was the best feeling ever. I felt the sparks again. I missed this so much. I pecked her lips many times, slowly before pulling away, and tugging on her bottom lip as I did so. I saw her smile a little as she looked down. "I missed that," she said quietly. "I missed it to," I let my hands rest on her hips as I took a step back from her. "Promise me you'll think about it?" "I promise Daniel." I bit my lip and grabbed her hands. "I love you Darian," she began to reply but I put my finger to her lips and shook my head.Darian
He kissed me once more before turning around. "Daniel, you can use the front door, my mom won't mind," I giggled. He smirked before following me downstairs and walking out the door to his car. "I love you," he said before hopping in. I made sure he drove off safely before going back inside. I turned to meet my brother's glare. "What's wrong with you?" I asked him. "I thought you and Daniel broke up." "We did," "So why is he in this house, with you." "Because he wanted to talk." I rolled my eyes. "So why'd you sneak him in here just to 'talk.'" "Jacob I'm over this, he came to apologize. He told me that he found out who took the photo and it won't happen again. I took care of it." He shook his head and mumbled something before walking upstairs. I rolled my eyes and went back in my room. I sat on my bed and began to think. I still obviously had feelings for Daniel, but lately, Jaden and I have been bonding non-stop, and I feel like he deserves a chance. He makes me happy, and I've already shut him out once. But then it's like Daniel and I have this chemistry. We just seem to always click when we are together. I sighed and grabbed a pillow and pressed it against my face out of frustration. I decided to take a nap and sleep on it.
I woke up around 10ish. I had a phone call and a text message from Jaden that read "call me" sighed before dialing his number. A few moment later I heard his voice on the other line. "Hello," his voice was so sexy. "Hey, you wanted me to call you?" "Uh yeah, I wanted to talk," my mind flashed back to Daniel. "About what?" I asked. "Can we hang out this Friday?" I smiled the widest smile. "Yeah, that would be nice," "I was thinking maybe we could go out with the crew. We planned on having a rooftop kickback. It's gonna be dope," "Yes, I would love that Jay."
We talked all night. We joked around, talked about anything that came to our minds. Space, the concept of the earth, poetry, anything. And it was amazing.
