A New Beginning

Chapter 13

Jaden's POV

Over the next few days, I was contemplating what I was gonna do about this crisis I was in. Kylie was getting even more irritating as the days went by and she seemed to be have caught a slight attitude as well. I saw Willow talking with someone in front if her locker. I waited for them to finish up and when the person walked off, I nearly sprinted towards Willow, almost knocking her down.

"Whoaaaa. Jaden, do you need something?"

"I need you to get Darian to come over our house." I said quickly.

"What? Jaden, why w-"

"Please Willow? You know I still have feelings for her. I just need her to come over so we can atleast get back to being friends."

"I don't know Jaden. She seems pretty happy right now. I don't wanna mess that up." She brushed past me and began to walk off.

"Then I guess you wouldn't mind me telling mom that YOU broke her Oscar?" I said, making her freeze in her tracks. She turned around and quickly walked back to me.

"You wouldn't." She narrowed her eyes at me.

"Oh. But I would." I smirked and leaned against the lockers." She rolled her eyes hard and made a loud irritated sigh.

"The choice is yours." I said simply.

"Fine. I'll see what I can do." She threw her hands up in clear defeat. I smiled widely.

"Thanks sis!" She turned and walked off.

On the outside I was cool and collected but on the inside, I was mentally doing cartwheels. I shoved my hands into my pockets and grinned as I made my way to my next class.

Darian's POV

I sat down next to Willow in the cafeteria as people started to fill in.

"Hey boo." I said.

"Hey." She simply said. I hesitated before getting out my lunch.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

" Yeah, I'm fine. But can I ask you something?"

"Anything."

"Well, I was just wondering, do you think you could come over my house sometime this week, you know so we could hang out?" She said looking down.

"Of course boo! Is that what you're all shook up about? I'll be by tomorrow. How about 7?" I asked.

"Yeah. 7 is great." She smiled, showing her perfect teeth. Everyone began to arrive at the table. Daniel sat next to me and wrapped his arm around my shoulder.

"Hey baby." He said after he kissed my cheek. We all began talking about whatever came to our minds. We laughed and joked about things, like always. I don't know why, but this was probably one of the best lunches I have ever had.

Jaden's POV

"She said she'll come over tomorrow." Willow said as we walked through the front door.

"Really!?" I asked.

"Yes. So just keep your mouth shut about the Oscar. And you better not do anything crazy and ruin Darian and Daniel's relationship!" She snapped narrowing her eyes.

I simply smirked and nodded.

The next day, my eyes popped open and I hopped out of bed. I ran to the bathroom and got my hygiene together and put on leopard drop crotch pants and a MSFT tank top. I threw on some black Nike free runs and was off to school.
