A New Beginning

Chapter 5

I walked into my first class and sat down. I passed by Kylie and her friends as they giggled at something looking at me.

"Problem?" I asked walking up to them. Kylie stood back and shook her head and plopped down in her seat. I rolled My eyes and went to my seat. These Irelevent little girls are getting on my last nerves. I put on my headphones and blasted music with my head down. I was drifting off to sleep when someone rushed past me, pushing me slightly. I got up, ready to go off when I saw their reason. There at the door, was Jaden. I kind of smiled and sat back down, looking at my phone. The bell rung and everyone took their seats. The teacher told Jaden to introduce himself, though everyone knew who he was and Kylie told him to sit next to her. He was walking towards the seat, but stopped once he spotted me. I looked down and smirked a little.

"Actually, I think I'm gonna sit next to her." He pointed towards me. Everyone turned to face me and Kylie gave me a glare. He smirked while walking back next to me and taking the seat next to me.

I swear his eyes have been on me the whole time. I've been trying to keep from looking but it's getting hard. Just then a note landed on my desk.

'I know you wanna look at me.' -Jaden

I looked up at him and blushed. I wrote on it and passed it towards him.

'Yeah whatever. Just be happy Kylie isn't burning holes through your skull.'-Darian

'Ouch. That sounds painful. I like your dress.' -Jaden

'Um thanks. I got it from H&m. I don't think they have your size though.'-Darian

'Haha. Funny. I meant it looks nice on you.' -Jaden

I was about to write back but the bell rung. I got up and began to walked to algebra.

"Yo Darian wait up!" I stopped in my tracks and turned around. It was Jaden ofcourse.

"Hey, what's your next class?" He asked.

"Algebra, why?"

"Damn. I have art. I was hoping we could walk to class together."

"Well, the art room is right next to algebra. What else do you have?"

"After art I have French, then algebra, lunch, science, gym, then study hall." He said.

"Well we have lunch, gym, an study hall together."

"Okay cool." Then the bell rung.

"Oh snap. If I'm late for class again, Mrs. Monroe is gonna kill me!" I said. We both hurried to our classes, barely getting there on time.

Jaden's POV

I walked in the lunch room with my sister and Moises. We saw Teo over at a table full of girls. We chuckled and Willow ran over to a group of girls. I noticed one of them was Darian. I walked over with Moises, and we sat down.

"Hey ladies." I said. We all said hi to each other and started talking. Moises and Madison were flirting hardcore and the rest of us were just laughing. Stella left to go say hi to Mateo so it was just Darian and I talking.

"So, the party is in 2 days. You're still coming right?" I asked.

"Yeah of course! I wouldn't mis it for the world." She said smiling.

"Alright cool. So I was thinking w-" someone tapped my shoulder. I turned around and there was Kylie.

"Hi Jaden!" She said while playing with her hair.

"Uh sup?" I said.

"I was thinking you could sit with my friends and I. You know, so you could take a break to donating to this charity."

"Um. Sure. Later Darian." I got up and walked away with her.

Darian's POV

I was shocked. Did Jaden really just do that? I know I didn't own him or anything but really? He just got up and left and threw me to the curb. And he basically agreed when she said I was a charity. he didn't even defend me or anything. I got up and walked out feeling a little hurt.
