A New Beginning

Chapter 4

I got home and Stella and Madison went home. I was sitting on my bed, on tumblr, when I got a text. I unlocked my phone and read it.

"Hey it's Jaden from Starbucks." It read. I smiled and replied.

"Hey. |||" I replied. I wasn't really sure how to reply so I just brought up the movement.

"Aha, you know about the movement. That's cool. So wyd?"

"Nothing. On tumblr." I replied. We texted for a little while before my phone rung. It was Jaden. I kinda panicked but answered.

"I guess texting wasn't enough for you was it?" I teased.

"Nah, but I had a question to ask you." he said. I got kinds nervous.

"Uh, go ahead."

"So, there's this party my friend is throwing, and I was wondering if you wanted to go." he said.

"Uh, I don't know," I started.

"Just as friends of course." he stated.

"Okay. Sounds great." I finally said.

"Awesome, I'll pick you up at 7."

"Alright, sounds like a plan." We talked all night just gettingnto know each other. I had my fan girl moments when talking about his.movies and songs, nothing major though.

NEXT DAY:

I woke up and did my hygiene routine. I returned to see a message. It read, 'Goodmorning beautiful' from Jaden. I replyed with 'Hey Jaden.' I set my phone down and changed into a black mid-thigh dress that kind of puffed outmatched the bottom, and white converse. I grabbed my backpack and skateboard and went down stairs.

"Okay Darian, your brother has to drive you to school today." My mom said.

"Why can't she just skateboard to school?" Jacob asked while walking in.

"Yeah? Why can't I do that?" I asked while grabbing a banana.

"Because, you guys need to spend more time together, besides you know how I feel about you skateboarding, it's dangerous." She said. I let out a heavy sigh.

"Okay fine." I said knowing I couldn't change her mind.

"I cant wait until you get your license." Jacob said rolling his eyes.

"I'll get it in 3 months. Want me to drive us to school!?" I asked reaching for his keys.

"Maybe in 3 months." He said snatching his keys and walking out to his BMW. We arrived at school and I saw a huge crowd. I got out and walked over to it. I pushed through to the front and couldn't believe my eyes. It was Jaden and his sisrlter Willow running up to the school. He didn't see me, but they eventually made it inside to school. I walked to my locker and put my books and skateboard in and walked to my first period class as the bell rung. This is about to be interesting.
