There stood Daniel leaned up against a locker and taking to a bunch of girls. I stood there frozen as I watched the scene. There was a girl with a bright orange crop top and a high-waisted pencil skirt that whispered something in his ear and he bit his lip while looking her up and down. Then there was another in leather shorts and a tribal-print tank top gave him a slip of paper that he slipped in his pocket. Then another in leggings and a bandeau with a jean vest over it kissed his cheek right before the warning bell rung. They all went to their classes, leaving Daniel standing there. He closed his locker and we made eye contact for the first time. I shook my head and quickly walked to my first period.

'Oh my gosh.' I thought as Jaden sat in the seat next to me. I hid my face in my arms as I put my head down.

"Darian." I heard him whisper. I kept my head down. Not daring to lift it back up.

"Aye Darian, come one I know you hear me." He whispered again. My head remained in its position. I began to feel tears come again. I wasn't about to let them fall so I sniffled slightly and wiped my face on my sleeve. I stayed just like that in every class until lunch.

Once lunch began I walked towards the cafeteria to try and cheer myself up with the people I loved. I passed by my locker and saw Daniel leaned up against a locker with a girl infront of him. His hands were on here hips and their faces were just inches from eachother. I stood there frozen and held my breath. That was when the girl saw me and leaned up to kiss him. He kissed back at first making my heart drop down to my stomach, but quickly pulled away and looked at her with pure confusion. It kind of gave me butterflies that he wasn't really interested in her like that. He looked my direction and we made eye contact, which made my stomach churn. I was still quite heartbroken that he had just kissed another girl. Not to mention she was actually very attractive, but I guess this is my karma for kissing Jaden. I took a deep breath and turned the other direction to walk away.

"Darian. Aye hold up!" I felt tears burn my eyes as I tried to speed up my pace so he wouldn't catch up to me. I heard the footsteps quicken as the tennis shoe screeches got louder. I was right at the door that lead to the rooftop. I pushed the door open and began to run up the steps, but I felt my wrist being grabbed as the person turned my body around.

"WHAT DANIEL?" I asked as I looked up at him.

"Look. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to kiss her."

"Save it Daniel. You know good and well you wanted all of that to happen. You had your hands on her waist and everything. But I get it. I deserve it for what I did. You wanted to get even. Just leave me alone." I tried to brush past him but he didn't let me.

"It's not like that. I swear. I was just caught up in the moment aight?"

"Whatever. You're mad about Jaden and I. I get it." I tried to walk out the door but he stopped me again.

"No it's not that. I don't even care about that anymore. It was just a kiss. I forgive you for it. I just want US back. I need you right by my side. I only want you."

"Well then why are you with all these girls every time I see you?" I asked crossing my arms.

"I don't know. At first I was just really mad so I just decided to surround myself with other girls. But then I saw you with your head down all in first period and in third period. I realized I didn't like hurting you like this and that I didn't even have feelings for those girls. It was stupid and I'm sorry." He spoke looking into my eyes.

"Really?" He nodded his head.

"Aw Daniel, that's so sweet. But I should be the one apologizing. I shouldn't have kissed Jaden behind your back. And then kept it from you. And I shouldn't have accused you of cheating. That was selfish and stupid."
